Croatia CROATIA 2018 - Franka - Crazy

This has grown on me somewhat. I now think it is the strongest of the three "jazzy" entries, above Belgium which just isn't working out the way it should. Still think it's a bit forced and not really true to the genre, as someone who regularly listens to "real" jazz music, but i'm not counting this out to qualify.

The rehearsal video did not excite me at all. I do not see a lot of chances for the final tbh

I think it's either Croatia OR Austria in the final, or neither. Not both. Hoping it's Croatia tho

This might feel subjective coming from me, but seeing how I was one of the people who has written the song off completely before the rehearsals, it just inspires me to see how much effort and emotion she put in to a live performance, just so that she can make this song sound viable and competitive.

Since I don´t really follow her, I had no image in my head of how good she sounds live. So yeah, of course I will be blown away when I had no expectations!

I have same feelings as you! I feel a bit ashamed to written off the song before Lisbong Yet, I feel she has deserved better song for this eurovision but let's see how all develops!

I liked Jacques better but Franka is almost equally amazing. I love that the song is not a traditional cliche entry but something interesting and a bit alternative I am crossing my fingers for her tomorrow

I regret not paying much attention to Croatia...until now. Holy shit, this was such an unexpected yet pleasant surprise. An absolute eargasm with such outstanding delivery. Loved every second of it and honestly, i'm tempted to vote in this one.
