Am I the only one who actually likes this song  I love the way it sounds, very R&B with a jazzy touch, sultry, for some reason reminds me of Lovewave...

Sure, the verses are better than the chorus, but I don't get the negativism, I think this has potential to do great, if the live vocal matches the quality of the one we hear right now. I feel that if the staging is great, more people will enjoy this. TBH this is what ''Funny Girl'' should be but isn't.

My favorite internal selection so far, thank you so much Croatia xheat 10 points in the poll with potential to grow to 12 in the future :) good luck!

Yeah, I agree with the staging part, I already imagined some and it looked great in my head
But the only part that truly slays me is the beginning, while I expected it throughout the song. But it's definitely not a bad song, especially compared to last year's. :)

Jacques is probably the biggest ESC grower I ever listened to.

I despised his entry when I first heard it and I was even afraid to listen to it again (cause my mind coudn´t take it).

Not that I actually like listening to the song now, but I enjoy it in the context of live performances and putting on a show.

It's an ok song and I think it will work better on stage. Despite she said it's not a Balkan song, this still gives me a bit of Balkan sound for some reason. Anyway, they need a good staging.

look at those poll results though... xrollinglol

I was thinking about same as well...Franka ambitiously announced it as love-hate song but it left most of listeners just in the middle...those who don't like it, basically don't feel anything regarding song while many people who like it don't bother to listen it again...

Btw, interesting fact, author of music for Crazy is Branimir Mihaljević. He tried to represent Croatia on esc few times and came closest 3rd (he scored 132 pts while second 133 and unbeatable Danijela Martinović 177 pts) in 1998 with song "Daj". Despite not winning on Dora that year, this song became most preformed/aired in 1998 (yup, even more than Neka mi ne svane).

(I like this song more than Crazy

So I am one of the few (?) that actually liked this entry from the first start. For me this is definitely one of the songs I do like so far this edition. It's not the best, but it's a solid 8 from me. I like her voice, I like the mood of the song, and it does seem well produced.

See, this is why I´m starting to like unsafe choices like Jacques way more than the safe mainstream stuff. And I hope we go back to that next year.

Standard Eurovision rnb styled dance song, feels like I've heard it all before.

The song is quite ok but I fear it won’t stand out in the crowd.

On the other hand, there are milions of yet unknown aspects (draw order, live, staging), so who knows, it’s kinda hard to predict.

I listened to only few songs this esc (those that are marked as “favorites”), and they pretty much suck. Not that it means this one is fantastic, just saying it seems like this could be a weak year so everything is possible xshrug

I feel the teaser is the reason for negative impressions. Many had their own vision of the song, how it might sound like...and most, if not all, of course had a wrong idea how the whole song will eventually sound. It's like when I need a new dress for some occasion, I start creating the dress in my head, how I want it to look like....and then I go to a shopping mall and of course none of the dresses look anything like the one in my head. So I end up hating them all and come back home pissed and empty handed.

But then when I go to a shopping mall for no real reason or need, just to look around...I almost always find some piece that I instantly fall in love with. :D

That being said, I wish I hadn't watched that teaser. Her voice fits the song, the mood of the song is wow, it is indeed well produced. I did like it on the first listen, well...most of it. The ending felt a bit underwhelming and that's what made me think "Ok I like this, but I can't really tell how much. Is it a 5, a 6, or even 12?" What are your thoughts on that ending?

hehe... good comparision! Although I really dislike shopping, so cant really relate to it personally.... But I had the same feeling; some people felt let down after the teaser. I didnt put much into the teaser, just listened to it once without giving it any more thought.

I find the song rather sexy, actually. The feel and the mood - and some very interesting instrumentations going on in the background. This is well done!!!

The ending of the song is actually the one thing I dont like too much about it. It feels very abrupt. "oops, the 3 minutes are over....we need to finish thi....Lo-o-o-ove..."

I quite liked this on first listen and I don't rate our esc songs at all (that run from Doris to Nina Kraljić truly is the pits). It's kinda like Sam Brown for Eurovision. The juries will appreciate it for sounding modern, but I can't see this doing anything on televote. There is a potential for good staging, but I just don't trust HRT. Cold be a borderline qualifier. 8 pts.
