I like idea of sending some klapa or even some tamburaški sastav to ESC. Result is not as important as sending something that will represent cultural heritage of a country.

You are right! Maybe the audience would appreciate it (there were several "cases" and it worked out)

This one was very popular in Slovenia:

I usually don't like klapa songs, but this one brings many great memories back to my mind. That's a kind of song that you just HAVE TO listen on the seaside. Especially if you're spending your holiday in Dalmacija.

Got it, it certainly is a unique music style and reminds me of Volksmusic which is quite popular among the older population but in a song contest it stands no chance if you ask me. So if Slovenia is focusing on qualifying to the Finals, this is not the right path to choose IMO

Croatia, not Slovenia. Slovenia doesn't have klapas.

not all traditional music is good for esc. imo, this is one of those.

I agree with Lak on this one. Well, I'm not saying that you shouldn't send klapa music, but I do think that it wouldn't gain success.

I just think that other countries wouldn't "get" this kind of music. When I hear it, I can imagine Dalmatia, sea and other related stuff and that's why it falls into the context. Someone from UK will have no idea what this songs are about and therefore - they just won't catch the spirit.

Second that, I didn't like any of these Klapa clips above. I really want something traditional/ethno from Croatia, but not in this boring dated way. Plz don't do this Croatia, you can bring ethno to ESC in better ways like you've don in the past.

I'm still rooting for Jelena Rozga or Magazin, heck I'd love to see Severina back aswell. Colonia... whatever... there are plenty of better options if you want an ethno twist.

I've read somewhere that many are complaining for years for Croatia not sending traditional music and that that's why they wanna send klapa :/
