it seems that our dutch Broadcaster : VRT is going to take part in the ESC in Sweden with a new "Eurosong" show (with some changes - maybe less songs or less live shows).
Belgium won't never withdraw as we have 2 broadcaster, if one doesn't want to participate the other will.

Balkan/Ex-USSR has to win for once, I'm done with the West-European maffia
Edit: Totally worth my 1500th post :p

With the exception of Finland, all winners from 2001 to 2008 plus the winner of 2011 were from these regions. I don't think it's overdue for these regions to win again. Of course, the country with the best song should win, no matter were it is located but I'd rather have a winner from Central, Western oder Southern Europe. Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, France, Belgium oder Switzerland would be good winners. Also Iceland, Malta, Slovenia and (Eastern) countries like Hungary or Poland that don't belong to the ex-USSR would bring the contest to a region that is overdue to host the contest.

I would also like a non-Germanic winner and whether that be Spain or Serbia or Turkey I'd like to switch it up a bit from where it's currently been stuck.

I would puke for sure.

I hate this kind of view that most of Eurovision fans has. Suddenly it's not may the best song win, it's may the most non-western country win.

I'm a western european citizen, so for me the contest can stay here in the Western Europe for 20-30-40-50 years. For me Eurovision is a way to explore new places, new cultures, new people so excuse me if I want that other countries will win this damn thing. Paris, Amsterdam, Bruxelles, London, Madrid, Reykjavik (why not, they can have an opportunity too). After  - :dk: - :se: - :se: in 7 years I would call for other solutions! Hate what you want, I don't care!

So why have a song competition at all if it's not the songs that counts?

In other words how we know the televoters voted for Italy's song not Italy itself??

Some countries would be screwed to win with only televoting.

If people want to explore new places that go to other countries and do so. They do't need ESC to be held there.

The song counts.

People voted for us only because it's Italy.

Only few days after the Final of 2015,
and we already know that Andorra is out, Luxembourg is out, Kosovo is out, China is out, and maybe Bosnia is out.
The disaster begun?

Indeed, there's nothing surprising about those countries not participating :p
Slovakia returning is more probable than Andorra returning or Bosnia with their damned financial situation

Yeah. I think I sounded a bit rude, but qhat I wanted to say is that those countries not returning doesn't mean a disaster, it was expected.
Unfortunately Bosnia and Andorra won't be abck in quite a few years I guess. They both have broke broadcasters :(
