There seems to be things that are not meant to happen more than once. Apparently this is the case with our ranking in the final contest. Thanks primarily to Elitsa & Stoyan who boldly took the challenge, even though they knew it would not be easy. We thank all of you who were with them in the months and who supported them tonight. Unfortunately none of this was not enough and had to drink the bitter cup to the last drop. Thank you very much again!

Despite my love for this song and for Elitsa & Stoyan, the performance was really messy and Elitsa's voice didn't do the trick. This wasn't expected to qualify and didn't, but it was a great effort. I'm still bitter about 2012 though, cause Sofi Marinova should've qualified instead of Tooji.

Poor Bulgaria!

I voted 4 it tonight! I was hoping for a miracle to happen... It was simply just not meant to happen... :(

Did anyone else think the camera work was kind of bad? xthink It just felt very messy and it didn't flow much so it made the performance (really cool and fantastic with lots of energy! xbb) look choppy and uncoordinated. And it wasn't only them others kind of did as well but I noticed it with them the most. xshrug

It was always going to be an uphill battle since Bulgaria doesn't get the guaranteed points others do and with the jury being against anything that's ethnic it pretty much became impossible. :( But Elista and Stoyan did great and should be proud of themselves. :)

THEY NAILED IT! Seriously it was better than the Voda performance and they were probably ruined by the biased jury... Amazing piece that failed while Diaspormenia went through! OUTRAGEOUS!!! xpuke

What to say again? Bulgaria is probably most robbed country on ESC in history. 2008, 2011, 2012 and now 2013

I'M SO SO SO FUCKING PISSED NOW!
LIKE YOU DON'T KNOW, WHY ARMENIA, MALTA, HUNGARY AND ROMANIA ARE IN THE FINAL AND SAN MARINO, ISRAEL AND BULGARIA AREN'T?!
I mean! ROMANIA!? :s

I'm so sorry for the SHAMEFUL EUROPEAN votes. A big thank for BGN who suported his song all the time. Elitsa and Stoyan were PERFECT and ...
Oh my god, I'm crying now! Damn! What the hell is going on EUROVISION!?
That's totally unfair that american trash like ARMENIA or a stupid falsetto voice like ROMANIA were in the final and NATIONAL CHALGA-FOLK WITH HIS TRUE LANGUAGE not!

Sorry for Bulgaria, Israel and San Marino. You all didn't deserved it. You need to withdraw of this CIRCUS called Eurovision.

Considering it was low in the odds, the press ranking, the fan ranking or any other list out there, this doesn't come as a surprise. It just shows that recycling artists isn't always a good idea. Hopefully Bulgaria will come up with something awesome next year. I can imagine being stuck in the Semis year after year must be frustrating but the Netherlands just proved with the right song, anything is possible.

I know right? All those years they deserved a spot in the final...

Actually I'm just considering stop watching ESC until juries are kicked out together with Björkman and Ola sand and the old voting system is back...

They probably won't come back, 2008, 2011, 2012 & 2013 they deserved to atleast qualify but never did...

I guess their only chance is to pull off a Russia/Georgia and import Swedish written cheesy ballad in English... but then again what's the point with ESC if that is what it's turned into?

That's personal taste...I thought they're songs in 2008, 2011 & 2012 were horrendously painful to listen to and did not deserve to qualify. 2013 was alright but too foreign for most people.

Well, atleast the public seemed to agree that they deserved to qualify last year...

Well, it wasn't foreign in 2007... suddenly with juries involved everything ethnic is suddenly "too foreign" xshrug

Na inat is one of the best songs on this so-called musical competition. Its not Bulgarian fault cause ordinary europeans just dont care for different things. we all must learn english or we are illiterate but when native english speaker cant speak any other language thats ok (why should they learn it when everybody speaks english).

Na Inat is song with amazing lyrics and it was must be place for it in final (just must).

If by "he" you mean me I am politely asking you to stop making up stories in your head.

Still don't get my humor I see? ;)

It was a joke, but I really thought you liked pop songs in English (and with Pop I don't mean the Eric Saade type of pop).

You're wrong.....My Number One may be Ukraine but my Number 2 is Greece..6 songs in my top 10 this year are not in English.
So no, I would have not liked Na Inat in English cause I find everything about that song incredibly annoying and cheap.

The only thing the Netherlands proved is how to buy a ticket to the final. xshrug "Ik Ben Verliefd (Sha-la-lie)" almost qualified via televote but got trashed by the jury making it impossible and "You and I" actually did qualify via televote but again trashed by a jury.

"Birds" was helped outside forces that made sure it qualified no matter what (semi famous name helping it gain fanboy support, manufactured hype status, best possible draw by Bjorkman,). And this year the jury is showing more Western bias then it ever has before. Yeah they have in the past but this year really takes the cake. "Birds" was given favoritism that this and others were not getting from SVT, the fanboys and press.
