Meh... the whole song expect the chorus runs really slow. If the beginning was like that and then the melody changed to something faster afterwards would have been way better. 6 pts

Damn, this is a cool song, very James Bond, but I love the verses in this song. A really good song, Belgium should be proud again with their choice.

Not a winner, but it sounds really expensive, outstanding and radio friendly.

This is actually the kind of song I wanted Aisel to sing.

I am not fan of Bond style songs at all so it's a disappointment. :6:

Good song, but it doesn’t stand out. It’s a shame after last year, which was so special with Blanche. We are close to another open year as it happened in 2011 or 2014. 6 Points.

One of the most boring songs this year ... Definitely!

Some people here , have serious problems in understanding Eurovision S.C. as a competition system.
This is an extremely average song in every segment of its (non)significance.
The song did not bring anything new.
Some have raised this song to heaven, I thought the song was THE WONDER OF GOD., but Nothing at all, a great big nothing !

I can barely give 2 points, barely

I'm kinda disappointed, to me it sounds like the weaker version of "Do you like what you see" :D Just got this in mind at the first listen (no, no plagiarism just the weaker version :p)
It's not a bad song, but right now I don't see this winning.

not my cup of tea at all. I'm as French as I'm Belgian but I wouldn't want to win with that song and I can't root for them as I unfortunately don't like the song. :be: didn't win with Loic nor Blanche so I can't see "Matter Of Time" winning.

Belgium serving quality yet another year xclap I'm enjoying the smooth sound of this song, quite jazzy even. Sennek will deliver good vocals as expected, and with a good staging I can see this going far. I'm not blown away yet but I have a feeling this will grow on me once I hear the live performance.

6 points, good luck!

I will give this song this: it's very dense and doesn't make itself easy to sit through. The way the percussion interacts with other aspects of the song is a very intriguing concept. I don't know, though, if Sennek's technically masterful but not particularly nuanced tone is the right choice to guide us through a composition that really tries to distinguish itself as unique and creative. It's something I very much respect but won't be going back to a whole lot before May.

7 points on the whole.

EDIT: I just went to update my post in the top-list thread and saw that this shares the "7" spot with Belarus. What a study in opposites that is. :by:, in stark, stark contrast, I don't really think does a lot to give it much creativity or even dignity, but I enjoy listening to it a lot.

Those verses are wonderful, but then that chorus is a bit of a let down. I mean it has a chorus which is more than can be said for most songs this year, but it could have been something.. more appealing? I don't know. I'm a bit confused. For sure it's in the upper echelons easily of what we've been given so far this year. As a composition it feels original, and melodically it's going in some interesting directions. I like its nocturnal vibe. This is something that's extremely listenable and high quality so i've got to give it props.

I'll give a cautious 8 points for now, as it's doing so much right. I'm not slayed but do colour me impressed.

THE GOOD:
-I like this song's overall ethereal sound.
-Her vocals fit the song.

THE BAD:

-Not gonna lie, it sounds kinda old.
-It doesn't really thrill me.

THE VERDICT:
I see this qualifying for the Final, but not winning, as others have said. It's a pretty good song, nonetheless. It's also kinda memorable for going for that 1950s-1960s soul sound, which some of the voting audience may not care for, but I appreciate that about this song. 8 points

Happy listeningxheart I just listened to it three times in a row, and I liked it more with each play. It's very smoky. I can imagine a camera panning through wet city streets at night, skyscrapers and dark alleyways. It creates an amazing atmosphere and i'm starting to think about how splendid they could make this look staging wise. It's a very lush and grand composition.....

I'm not as excited about this as I was about City Lights last year but I do like this song. 12 points from me.
