A male non-ballad is going to win this year: Italy!

I knew Loic would be amazing. He sounds like Sia singing Lorde.

I vow that I will judge this song solely on its own merits and that…

If Belgium wins, which broadcaster is entitled to host the next ESC? Is it RTBF and would the ESC go to Wallonia or Bruxelles? Or will the Flamish part also have a chance to bring in a host city candidate? (I love Brugge so much and Ghent)

That's an akward question  If Belgium wins, will the Eurovisiong Song Contest harmonize the country or definitely tear it apart?

Brussels is not really neutral ground. Despite of official maps and road signs, their language is totally French.

Well, when Celine Dion won, it was Lausanne in Suisse romande to host the contest. I guess Celine Dion won with the RTS Ticket (I hope I got the French broadcaster right). Or was Switzerland close to blowing up their confederation because of that?

No idea I wasn't born, Switzerland is no longer a confederation and that was a joke. If Belgium wins I guess we'll see some epic battles between the locations for hosting the contest.

But now you are born, aren't you? I'm already scared of the epic death battles ....

Mmm... I'm disappointed. I wait for the long version but I don't like this snippet at all. At least it is something new this year.

That's hot...

The snippet does sound a biiiiit too close to Lorde's style, but I like his voice and the song seems modern and relevant (which we need to balance out all the dated ballads).

So true. After Conchita's amazing James Bond style winning, countries believe an ordinary dated ballad might cause the same luck for them.....
