Yeah, I thought that's why the VRT chose to select the candidate, because what the Belgians chose always failed
!
I kinda liked the way how the RTBF selected a song via AKA music, but of course the ones with a large fanbase have an advantage. And the first round was messy as well.

I do think if Belgium wants to qualify, the VRT must decide internally
it will not always be successfull offcourse, but only 17th this year is bad
we will see, i hope first of all for a good song

Hmm I don't think anything would do as good as Sanomi.
At that time it was something unique.
Now, people would compare it too much to Sanomi (see Belgium 2008 O julissi) and it would fail
