It can be quite successful, depending on the live performance...it has some vibes of Kristian Kostov last year..

I prefer Ukrainian/Russian version.

Alekseev's song has a lot going for it - IN RUSSIAN. English version is unremarkable with messy lyrics. Seriously, I reckon it could be the difference between qualifying or not. 2018 is looking to be a year with lots of non-English entries, so there is absolutely no reason for Belarus to choose the English version over the Russian.

This song had great potential to place Top-5 at least but with such poor English its chances are lower. In Ukraine he would be mocked by Jamala and The Maneken for this 100%.

In the recent interview he said that Ukraine should be represented by someone who's popular in Ukraine and that his music video was shot/produced by Alan Badoev.

Badoev is the producer of Tayanna

In other words they made a friendly deal and decided do not cross at 1 field.

"Forever" is splendid. The sonic texture is wonderful, and the vocals just elevate the whole thing. Belarus would be smart to pick it up.

Especially after going for Belarussian last year. It feels very much like a let down, they embraced Belarussian, qualified and now they ignore that. Russian is for sure the superior to English with this song. It would be even better if they had it in Belarussian.
