I'm 100% certain this won't qualify, the semi is too strong and his vocals are awful. Juries will probably rank this bottom 5...

Hope it gets disqualified. Not only has it broken many EBU rules but also the rules of singing

If his vocals are still that bad in the semi-final it won't qualify! Many people out there will not vote for someone who has terrible vocals even if the song is good!
If his vocals gets improved i believe it can qualify!

Watched the music video on eurovision youtube channel, loved it. Then I saw the live finals performance here, great song but the singer tanks the quality, what a shame.

I don't udnerstand how this is still hovering around the 15th place in the odds, ahead of songs like Italy, Denmark, Portugal or Ukraine.
The song itself is pretty bad, but the live performance really elevates it to something atrocious. It's bad in every sense of the word.
Plus it's in the first semi-final. I think this is the only safe non-qualifier from that semi-final, besides Iceland and maybe Ireland.

This maybe will be the first time a contestant in eurovision can't sing his own song?

i am still not entirely sure elena gheorghe or eleftheria eleftheriou sang even a second of their own songs without the backing vocalist being the actual center.

which is what alekseev should do if he doesn't sing in ukrainian. you ain't learning english pronunciation in 50 days, homeboy. yulia samoylova had an entire year and still can't.

I agree it's overrated, but then again bookies often estimates things wrong and have their own formulas. This is multitasking and depends also on the amount of money that people bet that can be skewed.

He can't sing (or can for 20 seconds if you wang to be positive) and the song is average. I also see it as a safe non-qualifier, Belarus is not a country that gets a "free pass" with average entries and poor performances (there are some that do but not this one).

I see that many people think the main problem with this entry is his vocals and i agree. But i also think that song is nothing special so overall i think is bad a entry that does not deserve to qualify. Belarus has sent far better entries!

Still think the studio version is a goddamn bop, my 7th place of the year firmly goes to this song  I also love the video, because I really don't get what the hell he's doing, but that just makes it even more entertaining :D I also find him to be highly attractive in it, in a kind of unsettling way, but still   Even though I don't really find him to be otherwise. This is gold. Kind of hope the Eurovision performance will also be as hot of a mess as it was, but I kind of also want him to genuinely win people over, so... I hope they're working on it.
