They'll probably campaign to have it made an official language in Belarus. Belorussian English, English that no one can understand without a lot of concentration.

"Via Lattea" was everyone's favourite, I remember the outrage on the forum when she didn't get any points from the televote and subsequently didn't win. Anyone who says they didn't like it were liars who secretly played it on repeat all day.

Yes, AshleyWright's words above are quite right. Fans of Eurovision were left shocked, devastated and disgusted when Belorussian Super Soprano Elena Sinyavskaya came second last with the sensational, life affirming piece that was "Via Lattea". I watched the selection with a dear friend and we almost had tears, she was THAT good. The performance she gave of the song, it was like she had just won the big contest itself. The confidence as she enters the final chorus. She doesn't even sing the words, she just stretches her arms, holds her head back and mouths "Via Lattea" to herself in a state of euphoric bliss. She was everything. I'll never get over this song. In a fair contest, she would have won Amber style with a flawless victory.. but we all know Belarus is the Eurovision country of scandal.

When I first heard Via Lattea, I thought it would easily win the Belarussian final. I'm still shocked that it got nothing from televoters. It would have been my #1 ESC2014 song if it had been chosen

Indeed so. we have just heard Belarus's eurovision entry. We all, already know they will all be lukashenko approved. I love that there is Belorussian parts in the song, something Ive been longing to hear from Belarus in ESC.
