If we're going on who looks plain awful then hands down. Her outfit bugs me. How sad I am for letting the costume of an 18 year old Japanese culture obsessed girl bother me, but I just can't help but feel irked each time I see her standing there, stiff as a plank of wood, singing that ultra dull song. It feels so "look at me". There's nothing there to excuse or even compliment the look. No charisma.

I think the Barbara Dex award can often be seen as a badge of honour though. Thinking with that frame of mind then should get it. I'm not ashamed to admit I love Nina's outfit(s). As it stands her song is the only entry this year that has grown on me, and dare I say the performance and costume might be having something to do with it. I think she looks glorious Up there with the Rona's and Vilija's in terms of peculiar awesomeness.

If it wasn't for those things coming down from her arms I think it would look very good, but that just really destroys the outfit.

I was gonna say that ^^^ the dress is passable, though it's too white! Her hair, complexion, dress... maybe it's a metaphor for the light transferred by a lighthouse?

Germany beats them all to be honest. Those Christmas trees and toy-shop on her hair bug me. Big time. I can't take the song seriously because of that.

Yeah, the German comentary said, that they were sponsored to be able to take part. But I hadn't thought, that they were that broke. Or it was simply cold on the stage.

Rather than punishing those who actually showed a bit of thought and courage with their outfits (see Croatia/Bulgaria), I’d say totally deserves the award. All of it.

Whoever had the idea that white leather jackets should exist needs to be strangled with one. The hairstyle just completes it.
