Now let´s move on to the land of fire. 😐

The rhythm of the song is not bad, just too monotonous without any highlights for me. The chorus also seems heavily "inspired" by "Get Lucky" by Daft Punkt. My main problem with this entry though is his voice. This is of course just a matter of taste and I´m sure many will like it a lot, but for me this voice is just irritating as fu**k!! xgaah

In the end I give :az: a :4:, listenable but you wouldn´t miss anything if you didn´t. Could narrowly reach the final but also fail miserably like the two years before. I personally wouldn´t need it in the final, maybe as a break to get some snacks and drinks from the kitchen this could be "helpful". But for something else?? xshrug

It's catchy enough, I think I'll give it a :6: but it's a very solid 6. Could see it growing to a 7 over time maybe.

I'm not sure if it really has a wow factor to do well at Eurovision though. It feels like the kind of song a lot of people will like but not a lot of people will be fighting for it.

Kinda curious to see if there's any scandinavian composer attached to it...

Music: Safael Mishi, Roman Zee, KHVS
Lyrics: Safael Mishi
Mix & Master: Ihor Zavada, Michael Nekrasov

KHVS is Hasan Hayadar

I haven't found any info on Roman Zee bit all the other people are Azerbaijani.

I'm disappointed. Mega disappointed. In fact nothing besides instrumental after choruses works for me. I need few more listenings to just audio (not music video version cause it's too noisy) to give it a proper note but it will be around 3-5, somewhere next to Ukraine's place in my ranking.

I often get excited for the wrong artists. I was SO hyped for Polina Gagarina when she was announced only for her to deliver one of my least favorite entries ever. I had a spot reserved for Brendan Murray at the bottom of my ranking all throughout Eurovision season all for his song to be miraculously meh. My ten+ years on this forum are riddled with wrongheaded mistakes, pleasant surprises, disappointments, the lot of em.

But when I said "what in the ajr" I had these guys clocked from moment one. That one has aged really well.

:4: points, generously applied.

Azerbaijan are back to form. It's nothing special but a lot more televote friendly from them compared to recent years.

His voice caught me off guard, but i'll get used to it:p. The song is very "meh". It doesn't captivate me :(

It's surprisingly decent imo. Very radio friendly. Could be Swedish. Very Daft Punk - Get Lucky.

'Commercial' is never going to get ESC fans to start hyping a song but I think it has a good chance of qualifying for the final.

Why on earth do I think of EC?:LOL:
Supports my point! However I guess the hornyness factor makes me rate them in the 1st half of the songs released for now.
And aren't the twins from last year making a guest appearance in the video? :D

Decent, but inoffensive af, could be mistaken with a :uk: entry tbh. It's one of those songs they use as a background music before the opening of an act etc. I expected more tbh.

Actually quite enjoy it tbh, which given my expectations were very low is a pleasant surprise. I dislike the singers voice greatly, but in this it's far more tolerable for me. Minus the ethno element, I agree with Gera that feels a slight bit of Britishness about it (iirc their entry last did also). It's highly inoffensive but i'm not too bothered by that greatly.

I'm exhausted from lack of sleep and probably being slightly too generous, but have a :7:
