My Faves are the Makemakes and Folkshilfe. They will have much better songs in the next 2 shows.

i think the 16 had a broad specrum of genres.
and also the top6 are a good mix.
i liked the show. i just didnted liked the comments of the experts/jury during the stageperformances.

RainyWoods I've been mentally preparing myself for your reaction during the last few months ;_____; So sorry :(

No worries my friend. I am now an expert at window jumping. I'll survive this fall.

I'm shocked, baffled, utterly confused as to why Renato Unterberg didn't advance... but oh well, at least i've discovered a wonderful new artist from this. I see Johann Sebastian Bass is still there as well, so i've hope still for something interesting. I can't remember the other artists that have advanced. All I know is that I was only interested in two of them when the names were first announced.

i am quite happy with the choice of the jury. and i liked the show, i got used to the talking while the performances quickly.
disappointed of renato unterberg, they seem to be good in the studio but definetly no good live performers, especially renato himself (very bad english). very very happy about dawa beeing in the final.
i guess that folkshilfe have a good chance to make it. they performed really excellent, though it does not really fit for an international audience. but austrians will like it for sure. but i think this time it will be difficult to predict a winner. after 2011 this will be a real strong nf in austria again.

Ronny, Anselm....
songnames, infos, yt-links, rankings.......c'mon

Okay, lemme try. But my memories are kinda vague :'D

Celina Ann
Song 1: typical big ESC ballad, written with Sharon Vaughn
Song 2: more uptempo, soul-ish, written with some German composer

Dawa
Song 1: somewhat melancholic midtempo song with clapping and accordion
Song 2: a bit more uptempo with glockenspiel, both songs produced with Patrick Pulsinger

Zoe
Song 1: midtempo in German, composed with Julie Frost I think?
Song 2: Electro-swing in French, similar to 'Adieu', written together with her father

Makemakes
Song 1: Uptempo, rock-ish, retro
Song 2: Rock ballad, something between Elton John and Queen, written with Jimmy Harry

Johann Sebastian Bass
Song 1: Epic, very electronic
Song 2: Epic, both produced with I-Wolf

Folkshilfe
Song 1: Quite similar to their Round 1 song
Song 2: has English parts too, written with Julie Frost

I've just watched Renato Unterberg's performance of "Love" and have decided that I would like to declare war on the country of Austria. Renato is just as wonderful as I believed he would be, if not more so. Such charisma, what a voice. He has just such incredible stage presence. I watch him with my mouth open a gasp. He's a peacock on stage. So damn wonderful to look at him move and feel every note of the music in his body. His band are brilliant also. Perhaps it wasn't the best song from his latest album to demonstrate, but still I think he would have easily deserved a place in the top six. This feels like career suicide. I hope it's not. Those two women that have advancedxboring Without watching the show and seeing everyone, I can say with confidence that it's ridiculous how he's not in the final six. Ridiculous!!

The ones that have made it through are all varying degrees of "ok", except Johann Sebastian Bass... who are just flat out awesomexheat Send them please.

xwhat I think his English is extremely good. Listening to him sing live, I wouldn't even know that he's not English. I can understand every single word he sings as well, despite his unusual, wild style of singing.
