Gosh, not that I was expecting much from this one, but it's quite possibly the most bland mid-tempo pop song we've been given this year, and we have a lot. It's almost offensive how cookie cutter and bland this is. The one positive here being that i'm ok with the last 15 seconds and the nice strings closing the song. The rest of it is such a yawn and predictable factory pop.

I can't give it more than a 3 in the poll. I actually think I dislike it. How beige can you go? Very apparently. It's trashy pop with all the fun sucked from it. An absolute struggle to sit through.

Wavering between 3 and 4 points at the moment; for now I'll say 4, because I don't mind it and I'm optimistically hoping that it'll grow on me, but otherwise meh. Please change up your strategy for next year, SBS

If it's any small consolation I think that you're actually just as Denmark as Denmark is this year (any opportunity for me to shade that cardboard), and UK have also joined in. We can be three Denmark's together Beige cookie cutter pop 4ever. Yaaay.


But please stop doing this though. You could be one of my favourite ESC countries if you started thinking out of the box. You have an amazing colouful rock scene for instance. I'm banging my head against the wall as I don't think I want you to go, but at the same time I don't want entries like this every year.

You know what?! It may be generic as hell and nothing special but I can enjoy it anyway. It's fun and I think the sing can be lifted with the staging. Of course it's nothing spectacular but it should go through to the final. There it'll end up somewhere between 8 and 20. I give it 8 points.

Good God, I'm shocked I'm not more shocked.

Average production, the rhytm was OK but I'm sure I'm gonna forget about it as soon as I hear anything else. And the lyrics... good heaven even by Eurovision standards (very hardly we would discover to Joni Mitchell-grade material around here) this sounded SO corny.

It's not the worst I have heard on this contest, but c'mon Australia, you can do so much better.

Australia really do like to switch it up:

2015: indistinct
2016: boring
2017: uninteresting
2018: uncreative

But on a level where creativity isn't considered, there's something about it that makes it perfectly comfortable to listen to, which does elevate it above the other three. 6 points.

I've seen someone suggesting that the leaked version could just be a demo, which could make sense - the full version released is about 20 seconds too long, and I don't remember us releasing things outside of the usual 3:00 in previous years. Though maybe I'm just being too optimistic here because I really want a revamp or something

The song is very pleasant to listen to, basically a good song !

Australia is not Europe, so I can not have the same criteria as well as for European countries!
