After watching Guy's live performance of his song I am getting even more convinced that Australia is a serious contender for the victory! The guy can SING!!! Wow!!! With a nice staging, a profesional performance and a voice like this I am sure both juries and televoters will vote for Australia.

Here's the clip of him on a Dutch TV show, it's the most popular one on Sundays. He talks about Eurovision then performs an acoustic version of his song

Australia is now at 3rd place for bookmakers (after Sweden and Italy and before Estonia and Finland)

Still, I don't see that song as a winner. Top 5 for sure but winning, no

I see Australia winning, only because is Australia (and the song is enough catchy) :D I predict something historical for this 60th edition!

I disagree. For sure some people will think "wow Australia, nice to have them in ESC". But many people will also think " WTF are Australia doing in ESC?" Also they have no many Friends to voting for them. I think they can do well but not winning.

The song, IMO, is also very overrated! I don't see anything special about it!

That is one of the reasons why I didn't like that they compete this year, because they will get sympthatic votes no matter what.

Why can't take off the sympathy vote though. It's there every year for different reasons.

I'm curious about it. Do you like Estonia and Slovenia?

I think Australia will do well because they deserve it. The song is great (it's so catchy, I can't stop listening to it), Guy is an amazing singer and I think Europe's going to love him.

Seriously, I don't get why this song is climbing so much in the odds. It's not terrible, but it's just another radio friendly song just like thousands of them we've had before. This is even higher than Estonia or Slovenia, WTF.

I wish ESC would be more about music :(

In an obviously biased way, I'm glad to see Guy climbing in the odds, but it does seem a little bit silly to me just how high he's gotten. I don't really have too much of a problem with seeing Australia over Slovenia in the odds, as I don't see all of the hype over Slovenia and class it with Australia as 'enjoyable but not winning material', but... over Estonia? As far as song quality goes, we're leagues behind Estonia.

I do think that we have a small chance at winning, but... I think that about a lot of songs every year. This year, for example, I've got Australia down alongside Finland, Russia, Latvia, Belgium, Iceland, Spain, Albania, Slovenia and Lithuania as long shot chances, as well as all the most obvious winners in front of them. For the most part I'm just hoping for a respectable 5th to 15th finish.

To make one thing clear, your song is good but not a winner, a top 10 finish is very likely to happen.
