Both of these countries are behaving like 5-year olds all the time. They hate each other for crap reasons and spread their hate everywhere possible.
Eurovision without black sheep, without conflict, without quarrels, without revenge? too boring....
The so called “Political vote” is one of the most entertaining moment of the contest (neighbors who don't love you at all, or at contrary, neighbors who are your best mates, emigrants who forget about you or in other cases, they don't have a sleepy conscience etc.) I really enjoy to see how countries are voting :)

I have nothing against Armenia and Azerbaijian, I can understand their feelings for each other.
Wars leaves scars and their wounds are not healed yet.

They must remain in the contest. I'm glad they share the same stage considering a few years ago they were on war.
Even if now the war is at another level, is better they are together with us and not isolated from us.

Both of these countries are behaving like 5-year olds all the time. They hate each other for crap reasons and spread their hate everywhere possible. Let's look at the ESC stats: Armenia placed 25th by Azeri juries and televoters. Azerbaijan placed 25th by Armenian juries and televoters. Either they hate the other country for their own pathetic reasons OR they do what their government wants them to do. Because if you don't, you might get arrested like it happened in Azerbaijan in the year 2009. And they should be kicked out from all international competitions as well, such as football tournaments for example. I still remember their pathetic, childish behavior where they refused to play against each other in the EURO 2008 qualifications.

Crap reasons? If someone kills your child in front of your eyes, I will see it's a crap reason for you or not. If you don't know anything about this war, then don't write.

Second, I agree that it's a song contest, every country should vote only for songs. But I think Azerbaijan and Armenia will choose to leave the contest than to give points to each other every year. As if you don't know that ESC is a political contest. If you want to kick out countries because of politics, then almost every second country should be banned. Diaspora, neighbour voting, etc.. Nothing will be changed. Even if Jesus comes.. :?

Yeah, cry over something that happened 100 years ago and hate each other for eternity, that's sooo mature. You should both stop the killings, the hate and everything else bad. The world is tired of your inhumane conflict.

They kill each other for no reason! Are you trying to justify that?
I will repeat once again, ESC is no place for dictatorships.

I don't really get it. There was a war with most of Europe vs Germany & Italy, though those feelings are mostly gone. And that war was more recent as well. Or is there a more recent war between those two countries I'm unaware of?

I didn't said that. I said I can understand they keep some resentment and unpleasant memories considering that there was an armed conflict between them.

There was a conflict between Romania & Bulgaria, Germany & Poland, Serbia & Austria, France & England, etc. Do these countries hate each other? Nope. Only Armenia and Azerbaijan are immature enough to continue it.

their conflict was in the '90, not in the '40, though.

Hungary, Bulgaria and Ukraine are not "good neighbors", if I can say that. The feelings is mutual. We'll never be friends with Hungary, we just tolerate each other. We had conflicts with all our neighbors, except for the Serbs, which are seen as best neighbors :)))

I don't say you have to be friends with everyone (which is quite impossible), but toleration is the least you could ask. I don't have the feeling Azerbaijan and Armenia tolerate each other. Do you?

I don't know much about Azerbaijian and Armenia, what is the current situation, but if there isn't a war there, than it means they tolerate each other. They are "condemned" to live together in the same area. They hate each other, but is important that their hatred to be passive

It's not just their hatred for each other, the jury has also ranked all songs that could be considered favorites very low. Obvious cheating. Especially Azerbaijan. The whole point with juries was to sabotage entries like Poland, jokes and protest entries. That's great. But instead we get cheaters giving tactic points. EBU must act on that.

Excuse me, but there's nothing "great" in sabotaging entries like the Polish one...

But I agree that the EBU must act in general, if they are insisting in keeping the Europhobes, then atleast they should go back to the previous 50/50 system because the current one is 100% flawed and as we can see have been used by juries to manipulate the results because of their dislike for a country and its people, we see it in the case of AZ-AM, but also in how for instance Ireland and UK sabotaged the votes for Poland (which reflects their hate for Polish people due to the Polish diaspora "stealing" their jobs as they present it).

i don't really expect you to understand...you are just lucky to be born in developed country that has solved most of its problems with its neighbors...wherever we go we'll face this...i gave you an example about killing family...if you're ok with that and you call it being mature, i'll never be mature enough
I dont say anything about your situation, I dont know anything about it. I just say dont bring it to the contest.
We had violence and terrorism for many decades throughout Eurovision in Northern Ireland. Things came between the United Kingdom and Ireland on a political stage during that era, but it affected us at Eurovision.

It happened lyk 20 years ago, not 100. And this is not a place for such talks.
Lets not forget that when Eurovision started, we were able to compete together properly and respectfully, focusing solely on the music, just 10 years after the Second World War. And yes, that included Britain, France and West Germany...
