I love how dramatic Mger song is lol. And Kamil Show is just not good.
Suren is probably the best, though I think Zhanna and Asmik are great too. But my favourite is actually Gata Band, I'm kinda surprised but I love it!
Love those ethnic eastern sounds 
So I hope they go to Lisbon for Armenia!!

From the hype I expected better... I'm not that keen on this national final. There's a lot of songs that have quality, but are just plainly boring. So I've put together my top 10 of songs that left more of a positive impression on me, though there's just about five-six that I genuinely like/would gladly listen to.
1. Tamar Kaprelian - Poison (Ari Ari) ... Needed a bit of time to grow on me, but it gets better with every listen and in the end there's not any other obvious choice here as this is. Interesting, stunning song with a fantastic chorus.
2. Lusine Mardanyan - If You Don't Walk Me Home ... Well this is depressing. Also I'm not that keen on her voice. But it's a sweet atmospheric little song nevertheless, very much understated quality. The more I listen to it, the more I love it and it's grown on me tremendously.
3. Gevorg Harutyunyan - Stand Up ... Damn, drama. Love it. The epic quality in this is unmatched.
4. Maria's Secret - Escape ... Love her. One of the stronger songs in the bunch for sure. It's a pretty bold entry and definetly went to unexpected places, but it works. Would be a solid choice for Armenia in my opinion!!
5. Sevak Khanagyan - Qami ... Beautifully produced, the mystical sound is fantastic, the Armenian adds to it a lot, it has energy and emotion... I could go on... Definetly one of the stronger ballads and songs in the line-up, albeit it's almost too "perfect" that it gets boring haha.
6. AlternatiV - Stare At Me ... Starts out boring, but aw I like the pre-chorus and chorus and as it picks up energy. It's sweet and feel-good and there's nothing else like this in the selection. Though they could've also done a lot more with it.
7. Amaliya Margaryan - Waiting For The Sun ... It's a strong song, beautiful, great voice. Love the second half, but the first half definetly isn't enough and brings down the over-all impression down for me.
8. Nemra - I'm a Liar ... I enjoy it, that's pretty much it. It stands out a lot in the selection, but I'm not a huge fan either, not something I necessarily want to listen to over and over again.
9. Hayk Kasparov - Enamórame ... Doesn't really have fans, does it.
However, I genuinely enjoy this over a lot of these songs. I get that Spanish doesn't have that much to do with Armenia and it's half riding a bandwagon, but it does have Armenian elements and it manages to be quite unique and distinct for what it is.
10. Asmik Shiroyan - You & I ... Definetly starts out strong. The chorus I strongly dislike... The song does have distinct energy and quality and it's objectively a stand-out, but personally I find this one to be quite draining and annoying by the end.
The rest of the songs either purely bore me, are not my thing, something about them annoys me or I just don't find them strong enough. But all in all Tamar and Lusine are the two entries I'm actually really in love with , either of the two would be my choice. But I can definetly see Tamar at Eurovision really well.

Finished listening through the entire NF earlier, and damn it's a strong one. I've already put ten songs - so half of the NF - on a playlist for repeat listening, and it's really not often that I like such a high proportion of an NF. In vaguely ascending order, I'm particularly enjoying:
Lusine, who has a simple but tightly-composed and pretty little piece of midtempo folk; Tamar and her super-infectious ethno-pop that didn't wow me much at first but has grown bit by bit and refuses to leave me head; Amaliya, who has a fantastically moving ballad with great vocals and strong progress throughout, making me surprised that it's gotten so little attention from fans so far; Kamil, whose song somehow combines elements that should be terrible into into a weird little bundle of great fun that I just can't stop listening to; and Sevak, who absolutely brings the full package of a great voice, strong melody, tight production, national language, powerful climax and more.
All five of those songs – and perhaps even a few of the honorable mentions in my #6-10 – would probably be my favourite in most other NFs this year. Speaking of honorable mentions, I'd give them to Asmik, Gata Band, Gevorg, Maria's Secret and Nemra, which all have their charms and could grow on me.
This may well take my title for best NF of the year unless one of those yet to reveal all/any of its songs (and to be fair, there are a lot of those) comes along and tops it. Just let Armenia send like 5+ songs this year, please

Poison has grown on me a lot actually, I found it a bit clichée for Armenia at first but now I see the staging potential. It's the safest choice for a top 10-15 placing, however if they choose You & I it feels like it could either end up in the top 10 or in the bottom in the final if the juries and public doesn't appreciate the authentic commercial sound. (By that I mean that I think it's genuinally the type of music that's played on radio.) I'll be happy with either of them going to Lisbon but it would be more interesting to see Asmik there
