Hmm, pretty weak line-up in the first five, but if I have to pick one, it would be Tamar Kaprelian in the end. It is very oriental and the chorus is rather memorable, but I have never seen her as a singer that can hold an uptempo song on her own (she is more of a "Girl by the piano" for me). But the oriental sound in this song is almost on the point of being predictable and doesn't sound armenian, but more persian or arabic.

Makes me think of "Yvan Eht Nioj" and I feel like Homer Simpson in the clip below when hearing Tamars song....

Angel's "Heartbeat" is the best song from the second batch of them, but i'm not in love with anything so far.

I sort of like "Poison", great chorus but the vocals are dull. Overall I think the song feels like it's being held back.

"Waiting For The Sun" is alright, but it takes too long to get going, and I don't think the reward for sitting through it is quite enough.


Hope there will be something among the remaining 10 songs that i'll really likexcrossed A bop as hot as "Apricot Stone" please

Todays best is by far Kamil Show with her iconic way to honour the country of Puerto Rico, who had such a hard autumn last year. Super fun and catchy, and after translating the lyrics I just want to raise my hand and celebrate Puerto Rico style, Muy rico!

Puerto Rico is my fav of all those random Spanish songs in NFs so far Also like Heartbeat, but Tamar remains my fav.

Even worse quality than yesterday. But we have the best song so far in "Qami".

Kamil is embarrassingly bad. Yet another Spanish-themed song, with a generic female sang chorus, with random interruptions by a yelling drag queen.

Hmmmm better entries in the second day..but "Puerto Rico" is more like a guilty pleasure for now..
"Qami" as a full Armenian song is very interesting to me,..I think it's my fave for now..

"You & I" is the first song i've heard this year from any National Final that has made me think "this could win Eurovision". It sounds super big and I feel could get the whole of Europe on board, plus her voice is fantastic.

You & I has the most contemporary mainstream sound I've ever heard in Eurovision, and that's a great thing. It sounds like a unconditional radio hit, we'll just have to wait and see if that's what Armenia wants to send!
