Why is this song so low with fans, betting odds and everyone else?

I don't understand it either. I don't think I'll ever understand it.

This is going to have the opposite effect of Horehronie -- except in this case, the fans don't like it, but the general public will.

Maybe you have some Armenian heritage :p

My small hometown (called Trabzon) actually had some Armenian population 100 years ago, but as far as I know my fatherside is Pontic Greek (like the guys from :gr: 2016)
But many people blended in at those times, so who knows, maybe I do have some Armenian heritage from my motherside :D
After all, all the Armenian entries I like till now had a bit of Armenian language in them (2007, 2008, 2018)

I just realised how beautiful this song is and it shoots up in my Top 10 just yesterday.

Strange thing: Concerning Portugal's entry I like the music, but not the voice, in Armenia's case I like the voice, but not the music. :?

One of the few who convinced vocally. In the Opposite to many Opinions, hes no Borderliner but a 100% Qualifier.

Compare him to Julia and Aisel, there are Worlds between him and them.
But, please, list those 101 Mistakes

People who have zero knowledge in vocal capabilities commenting on vocal capabilities or playback. Lord give me strength. A lot of these artists have great voices, but simply use the wrong vocal techniques when they sing (ZIBBZ and Saara comes to mind). Sevak does however use the right techniques and has a much bigger vocal range than average. That is just objective facts.

What is this? It's horrible.

Well, his singing isn't always correct as it should be, but it's still okay. What I miss here though is his passion. He Looks rather bored. He won't gain points that way.NONO

I'm sorry but did you notice the background was bit different. That's what I call horrible here. He is doing meh - too lazy to sing the long notes, just holding his mic for 50% of the time doing nothing.

This is one of the weaker songs from Armenia. It's not bad, but it doesn't do much for me. At least he is nice to look at.

For me he was vocally clearly the best @ Israel.

Beautiful vocals for most of the song, but Sevak still doesn't seem to know what to do when the big notes come in the final chorus. Sometimes he tries for the high notes and misses; sometimes he puts them down to a lower note, which feels kinda cheap; sometimes he adds in those rap-ish lines, which don't really fit; and sometimes he just leaves it to the backing vocalists.

None of those strategies really work for me, so his live performance here (and at the NF) feels like it ends on a bit of a weak note despite being virtually perfect for the first two minutes or so. I'm hoping they come up with some sort of solution.

He did really well in Israel; I think that may have been one of his best performances yet!

Looking forward to more slayage in the coming month.
