Stunning! Vocally they stand out a lot, and the background is so beautiful, and symbolic. I'm very excited to see the world map on the floor. xbow

33 songs and 66 trees in, I still think this wins the battle of the trees.

I am really starting to enjoy this now.
Their voices compliment each other perfectly, staging is great and Inga is amazing.
A possible top 10 contender.

I'm curious about their new song. I suppose we will see, what they can do, when they aren't limited by the constraints of the Eurovision rulebook.

Good rehearsal. Still not a fan of the song but they are nailing it.

I was going to remark about their outfits - as I quite like them, until I saw:

This was great rehearsal, even I am not fan of the song but all of them was perfect. Bravo Armenia.

BTW I just found this version of song I really like (even map on Inga's shirt is too much, Azeris will like it loool)

Can someone translate the title and give a summery of the lyrics please?
As a matter of fact - musically spoken - I would have ADORED this as the Armenian entry this year!

The song's title roughly translates to "Us and Our Mountains". Armenia is an entirely mountainous country, so the mountains have some symbolism.

I'm not going to translate the entire thing, but the most repeated part of the song is basically, "wherever the road may lead- to foreign shores- an Armenian remains an Armenian, just us and our mountains". The verses are just point to other aspects of Armenian identity such as the alphabet, and are just romantic declarations of love and admiration for Armenia. One part translates to, "dawn breaks and awakens the word of my heart, Hay-as-stan!" Overall, it's a very patriotic song. :)

Also, Essai has the thickest accent ever, in both Armenian and English. :p

As far as the stage show-- I couldn't be more proud of them. They blew it out of the water musically and I am looking forward to seeing this on Tuesday. It's going to be extremely good, and the overall message of the song will be well-received because of how naturally it comes to them. They are also vocally flawless, and they sound better live than on the CD. Without a doubt, one of the most genuine performances of the year.

And this is coming from someone who didn't like this song when they first heard it.

Really?xshock1

Sammy, "We are our Mountains" is the name of a famous monument in Nagorno-Karabakh and in Armenian language it is translated exactly the same way as the title of the song http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/We_Are_Our_Mountains xacademic

So I guess it is not hard to find out what is behind this song ;)

Well, yes, that's also true but judging by the visuals, I'm sure people could already tell that. Nonetheless, the whole song is not about just that.
