Can someone translate the title and give a summery of the lyrics please?
As a matter of fact - musically spoken - I would have ADORED this as the Armenian entry this year!

The song's title roughly translates to "Us and Our Mountains". Armenia is an entirely mountainous country, so the mountains have some symbolism.

I'm not going to translate the entire thing, but the most repeated part of the song is basically, "wherever the road may lead- to foreign shores- an Armenian remains an Armenian, just us and our mountains". The verses are just point to other aspects of Armenian identity such as the alphabet, and are just romantic declarations of love and admiration for Armenia. One part translates to, "dawn breaks and awakens the word of my heart, Hay-as-stan!" Overall, it's a very patriotic song.

Also, Essai has the thickest accent ever, in both Armenian and English.

As far as the stage show-- I couldn't be more proud of them. They blew it out of the water musically and I am looking forward to seeing this on Tuesday. It's going to be extremely good, and the overall message of the song will be well-received because of how naturally it comes to them. They are also vocally flawless, and they sound better live than on the CD. Without a doubt, one of the most genuine performances of the year.

And this is coming from someone who didn't like this song when they first heard it.
