Re: ARMENIA 2013

I'm no Opera fan but I'm not disregarding him just because of that. If Armenia can somehow do a Sarah Brightman Pop/Opera that is actually good (it seems nobody has been able to pull it off all the way) I am all for it. Slovenia 2007, Sweden 2009 & France 2011 just weren't good enough.

Slovenia 2007 is the only one I like out of those, maybe because of the ethno influences there. I liked Sweden 2009 initially but can't stand it now. France 2011 just meh.

Well, I hope this rumor ain't true.

I hope, Armenia won´t sent an opera-singer to Eurovision -.- Even if I liked :se: 2009, I´m not a fan of opera music.

I like opera music and if they could send a powerful ballad with this voice,i would definitely cheer for Armenia.
And they must do something serious, finally not ''boom boom chaka qele'' garbage from Armenia.

Emmy has left such a horrible and undeniable stain on Armenia in ESC. Nearly everybody is traumatized by Boom Boom- myself included. :p

I think they're going with Sirusho. I saw pictures of her in the recording studio and she's hardly active these days.

As much as I hated that 'Boom Boom' entry I think I'd still prefer it over opera

Yeah, opera would not do so well, that's for sure, but hopefully ARMTv reconsiders and goes with the right option.

I do not think Boom-boom was so bad, sure not worse than a lot of other entries in 2011. Kind of silly yet unpretentious and catchy fun (much better than trashy pop-crap that takes itself seriously; Estonia comes to my mind). This being said, it is still the worst of all Armenian songs so far IMHO.

I sort of agree here actually, Estonia's entry that year was equal trash but somehow people liked that one xshrug

Nobody's forcing you to listen to it.
I love Eurovision and i don't wanna see countries killing it with cheap music.Eurovision should be filled out with this:

Mihran Tsarukyan wouldn't be the worst candidate for Hayastan next year!

Re: ARMENIA 2013

More Hayko, less Emmy please. More Armenian, less English please. Or at least someone with a good tune (like Sirusho), good looks (like Sirusho) but with good live vocals (unlike Sirusho)
