I hope you're right though that the juries won't go for this über-bore... it's a shame though that juries always tend to support such cheese relics as the Georgian entry

Well, our juries in 2011 went for Eric Saade, so I guess they're not only on ballads !

Atleast Eric was somewhat catchy, and also it was an even weaker year than now imo...

But Finland is not even catchy (atleast not imo).

Btw I know juries also support SOME uptempo songs, but it's usually limited compared to the amount of ballads (or shall I say "big wailing vocals") they support.

This. And since Saade's entry technically won the televotings (San Marino ain't use no public vote) it is a pretty bad example to show that they can be supportive of uptempo songs (they helped some, but on balance they're clearly not) either way.
