It's catchy but that's all. The lyrics are really poor and those words in Spanish are so predictable and cheap that a jury can't go over.
I really think Zjerm would be so refreshing and with a lot of staging potentials.

This time it must be Elvana, i love this song. Shokdra Elektronike, Ardit and Lorenc would be also good choice. But why 30 Songs? most of the songs are so boring and nothing special.

Elvana's song is decent. I'd like to have it in esc. I think there'll be a lack of pop-girlies this year and it would be nice to have a couple of them. It won't be in my top 10 def. but again it would be a song that I wouldn't mind in the grand final. I also think the performance will be good!

Last year wasn't a great year. To be honest Mal would have been better than that cold soup Besa offered to us.

I like "Me Tana" but it still had that "fesivali i kengesy" flavor to it. "Karnaval" is so unapologetically pop, it's hard to believe it's a FIK song. Elvana has to win this time for sure.

Lorenc gives me the same vibes as Alban Ramosaj who was robbed!

The Muscle Man is 3rd for now. I hope he will improve live from last year. The song is definitely a step up imo.

Orgesa Zaimi nailed it!! I’ve been listening to it all day and can’t stop . I’m obsessed with this "historinë" word, so I translated a text and omagad! The lyrics are great too. From what I understood, it's about remembering who you are and where you’re from.

She stood out from the other 29 songs so brightly, at least for me. I really hope she delivers on stage and takes the win. Just wishing her luck and crossing my fingers. Because it looks like my first true nut in this season

2. Shkodra Elektronike - "Zjerm"

Amazing! I like it until the guy starts to speak. Plus, there’s a 20-second gap in the middle with no singing and barely any music... It’s hard to imagine what the artists are planning to do during that part.

3. Jet – Gjallë
Martina Serreqi - "Nëse Qaj"
Elvana Gjata - "Karnaval"

These are all pretty listenable.

I'd love to have some faith in the juries but they made Mal Retkoceri win last year

The beginning of circuit gay party in Spain vibes meet Jennifer Lopez trashy b-side. Unfortunately, such type of songs end in the top-5 very often. So if Albania comes for their best result in televoting, they can choose her. She even added those 40 seconds for the jury, may her naive soul RIP
Song-wise it's Skodra Elektronike all the way.

I didn't want to post it because I was afraid of being deemed homophobic but yeah, Elvana's song seems to be tailored for drunk Spanish power bottoms (which probably is the majority of OGAE fans anyway).
If Elvana doesn*t win Fik, she might have a shot to win the 2nd Chance Contest next year, at least

Well i guess i'm a drunk Spanish power bottom, becuase Karnaval is a hit.

I need to listen to the entire line up but Karnaval is far superior to Me Tana imo, which i wasn't that fussed by when it took partin FiK. The long orechestra intro is a bit much, but other than that it is a fun summery pop number and does exactly what it says on the tin.

I don't think I would even consider Elvana as a standout lmfaoooo. I like her obviously, but Karnaval is SO basic and SO trashy . Playing to the lowest common denominator (uneducated, unemployed gay men with bad hairlines) Sadly, Ronela destroyed all hope I had in Albanian thotbangers after she murdered Sekret, so.

I also enjoyed Mal this time around but he barely missed out on my top five, so At least he gets to prove his haters wrong I guess (and lose).

"Amane" is amazing, "Zjerm" is great, "I pare" lyrics are albanian version of "Gnezdo Orlovo" and "Karnaval" is bad. Others are mid or bad.

I would love to have Elvana at Eurovision but Karnaval is not it. Incredibly forgettable and for a pop song that's a crime. She has more in her.

She does as does the artistic director Elhaida Dani but Shkodër is lone of the most popolous cities in Albania so its not that much of a coincidence.

Okay in this case I went just for a quick recap for time purposes, but it was interesting to hear to some fresh proposals as well opposed to Albania's screaming lady tradition. Good job!
