I gave it a few days to have a more objective view after my disappointment. I have to rate it a little bit higher, but it is still not very impressive. not edgy, not catchy either - all in all quite boring tbh.....

After listening to the final entries I must say this is really a more than deserving winner. I love me some ballads and this one is no exception. I was initially disappointed by the start of the song which was a bit too slow but everything just got better and more epic as the song progressed. I'd give it a nice 7 or 8 now.

I hope Lindita will not change the song a bit. Last year's series of events still gives me a sour feeling. "Perrallë" was really epic, but as we know it got brutally murdered and dismembered . Of course there were changes in the instrumental of the song but the biggest let-down is for me the fact that the song was translated to English. This turned it into just another English nice song which, despite (imo) being quite good, didn't stand out at all from the rest. And I fear Botë will suffer the same fate if translated/revamped.

Some are talking about a different song, which sounds miles better already. Still, I pray Lindita keeps Botë even if this means risking a non-qualification . A different song did indeed work out for Elhaida in 2015 but then again I don't like Diell at all . If she finds something like "S'te Fal" - that'd be great but for me the risk of being disappointed by a new song is too big.

Yes, I hope Lindita will slay Europe with Botë in May. Solid 8/10 and 8 points for now.

I can see this going a similar way to Georgia's JESC entry last year. A spectacular live vocal performance will basically force juries into giving points, and they will end up qualifying.

Lindita has said that she's going to change it. Luckily she's fluent in English, meaning that we won't have a 2014 or 2016 revamp situation.

Ooh... sounds promising! Wiwi have noted that it's only one of a few possible versions, but I'm very glad to hear the orchestral sounds still around, and if anything made clearer. Perralle went in a terrible direction last year by removing the whole 'epic orchestral power ballad' thing - hopefully this will do the opposite! I'm optimistic for now.

P.S. Between Greece and now Albania, is 'short snippets of orchestral recordings' going to be the new thing?

I hope they don't ruin it with English version as they did last year. The song is nothing special, but the more I listen to it, the more I like it.
