Awesome choice Albania. It took me more than one listen (I think as my expectations were sky high) but I quickly managed to get into Botë. It's a powerful song and incredibly well performed. You've gotta have patience with it but the pay off is worth it. The final chorus is spectacular. Yes, I wish it was "S'të fal" that she was taking Eurovision and not this one, but "Botë" is something different, and powerful in it's own way.

Genc in 2nd as well What other country would love a piece of music as complex and challenging as "Këtu"? It pains me a bit to know how close we were to getting a song like this at Eurovision, but i'm just happy there's somewhere in the world music like this can be appreciated. I won't be forgeting " Këtu" in a hurry. It would have been a humongous risk at Eurovision, one I believe they could have made work, but I think Albania deserves for once something a bit safer. Lindita *fingers crossed* can sail through to the final with this sophisticated power ballad.

Even if they provided that 40/60 voting rule (and counted those parody phone voters as jurors) it would have been a tie between Lindita & Ylli. Lindita would have won anyway.

Meeeeeh it’s ok, but nth special, vocals are god, but not sophisticated entry at all..singer with outfit and make up (nails are horrible), composition, screaming.. I knew I will be disappointed in the end.. not to mention when they translate and revamp this, it will be trash I suppose..

I wonder If i will like Albania again in ESC, I think I didn't like it since 2007 when I ADORED and VOTED it!

I predict bad result in Kyiv, but it will depend on the other entries..

Go after the song all you want, but you are having a go at her because of her outfit and nails? That has nothing to do with anything at the moment.

Anyway, the truth is without hearing the revamp and all the other participating songs in May, it's literally impossible to know how well this well do.

But it's always good to start with a song you like.

Yll Limani was really good choice IMO resutvise in ESC..maybe it could even pull the Poland 2016 who knows..he was much better than Linda Halimi, I see she is from Vitina..hmmm..not sophisticated singer at all (clothes, hair, make up), I don't insul village ppl, but she somehow reminds me village person (in our merits - Kosovo, Serbia, Albania)...

He was miles above all. I need to give a listen to Genc Salihu but not tonight ( I am not ready mentally tonight for his hipster "songs")
She is from Ferizaj/Urosevac where she used to live before she moved to US with her husband. She was always cheap looking and she was always a mess and at one point she was a laughing stock for the journalists because she started to be such a diva and required to be paid to give interviews lol...

Plus her outfit in he semis is not bad, it's, it's... i dunno.. I can't describe it, especially in combination with this ballad, it doesn't have any sense, it gives me NIGHTMARE!...

Just one more time, remember the 24.12.2016 01:11 (CET) and we will speak about her results comes may 2017!

Well, even I think she won't do great, but it's mostly because of what happened in 2014 and 2016. Sadly, this is a déjà-vu. Therefore, I hope she will sing another song at ESC.

She is from Gjakova. She was in XFactor 2 but she missed the finals, I remember loving her during that show.

I haven't been following the Albanian NF, but I'm okay with the winner.
