I was disappointed when I watched this. I don't know if it had anything to do with my Mother sitting right next to me slating it, but needless to say, I thought her vocals were off. I've just spoken to my best friend who happens to be not a fan of Eurovision, and he's literally in love with it and can't see why i'd think it was disappointing. He thought the performance was incredible. I just watched it back a few times in fact, and I don't think it was anywhere near as disastrous as I first thought. It still had many admirable qualities and overall Elhaida's voice was incredible. I just believe it could be so much more though and I hope she sorts it out for the final. It was a combination of the song and vocals that brought her to the final I think, and that's good. So long as it's not a car crash live (see Armenia) I have no problems with the better songs making it over the weaker ones, even if the weaker ones are better performed.

Armenia really wasn't a car crash at all, and I'm not even a fan of the song! The staging and the performance was pretty much on point.

Oof, she was so nervous. It was so visible. That said, she hit the high note and the last few seconds of the song with all the acrobatic notes, so that's good. I think she will do better in the final.

I still don't understand all the criticism that she has received about her performance. I was very happy with it and thought she was a deserving finalist.

For my taste she was good on Tuesday, and she deserved qualification. But she nned to change that awfull dress and hairstyle. Still doubt she got more than 5 points from Serbia on semi.

I would put Cyprus above Albania. Between Serbia, Norway, Sweden, Australia and Belgium. Sayonara!

The reason why they got that position is probably because they did badly in the semi (10th or 9th) and are just screwed anyway. Last year, San Marino as 2nd to last was 10th in their semi and in 2013, Georgia has 2nd to last were the 10th too, so it's very likely that was Albania's result.

Still, I think if Elhaida goes back to herself and finally delivers, this could do much better than it's now expected.

You're right with what've seen until now, but I still hope we will see her actual best unlike her previous performances. In that case she could do incredibly well from that spot.

I strongly doubt she came anywhere under 6th place in the semi.
