This thread is for any general Eurovision 2025 discussion not limited to or specifically about any country's national selections or song choices.
They could do it similar to the televote voting in the final but of course without points (just qualified or not qualified) following the running order or in random order. this could be at least equally exciting and the NQ would get the attention and the applause they deserve. So what do you think are the changes to revealing the semi final results that the producers are hinting at? Have read about it in some circles, but seen no firm detail if it's just rumours or not.
A lot of the comments seem to be erring on the consensus that the hosts might reveal the countries not qualifying for the final and out, instead of revealing the actual qualifiers. But that would be mental to basically just focus the camera on disappointed artists seeing their dreams crushed - we need the energy and joy of them hearing their country called!
Pretty sure they want to avoid calling out anyone not qualifying, for good reason! They could do it similar to the televote voting in the final but of course without points (just qualified or not qualified) following the running order or in random order. this could be at least equally exciting and the NQ would get the attention and the applause they deserve.
I have really not been into eurovision this edition as much as I have been in previous years as my life has been a bit of a mess recently (all good now) but one thing that has always put a smile on my face is this theme music for some reason? Weird to hear the full track
In my ears this is a big mess. I dont like it at all.I have really not been into eurovision this edition as much as I have been in previous years as my life has been a bit of a mess recently (all good now) but one thing that has always put a smile on my face is this theme music for some reason? That surprised me as well. I thought they would put the mountains on a LED screen. But I think I will like it. The stages of the last years were quite more of the same every year.So pictures of the construction process of the stage reveal that they will really imitate the mountains with huuuuge props. I wonder how that will look on TV. Can look super cheap, but might look nice?
Some performances will benefit from that I believe. Those that make sense to be „in the middle of mountains“ such as Sweden, Latvia, Austria, Greece, Armenia, Poland, Serbia.Just a random thought tbh.
I feel like those rock things could benefit countries like Armenia or even gain a few extra points to Austria but downside countries like Luxembourg and Croatia. That surprised me as well. It sounds swiss, modern, eurovision style, dreamy... it may be the best soundtrack since 2016?I have really not been into eurovision this edition as much as I have been in previous years as my life has been a bit of a mess recently (all good now) but one thing that has always put a smile on my face is this theme music for some reason? I say Go-Jo, Tommy Cash and Erika Vikman for now... Vaeb and Red Sebastian might gain a small international cult following, the rest will stay in the eurobubble.Which ESC 2025 act will have the most successful post ESC career?
i would add Abor and Tynna, unless they really flop the live.I say Go-Jo, Tommy Cash and Erika Vikman for now... Vaeb and Red Sebastian might gain a small international cult following, the rest will stay in the eurobubble.
Why don't famous singers participate in Eurovision Contest anymore? Earlier has been e.g. Cliff Richard and Patricia Kaas.
Olly Alexander is/was a well known name in UK. Not as well known as Cliff was in his day, but still quite well known as a singer and actor. Why don't famous singers participate in Eurovision Contest anymore? Earlier has been e.g. Cliff Richard and Patricia Kaas.
Lucio Corsi already has a great career after Sanremo. ESC is a bonus, of course. In Italy he will be very famous, I don't know in Europe.Which ESC 2025 act will have the most successful post ESC career?
