This thread is for any general Eurovision 2025 discussion not limited to or specifically about any country's national selections or song choices.

What does everyone think is the 'most forgotten' entry this year? I mean, the song that gets the least attention or discussion on X, fan forums etc?

I've seen very little discourse on Azerbaijan.
And also there was a bit of excitement for Czechia before the release, but there's very little buzz around it now and in fact its thread here is really quiet.
Also not seeing much on Latvia which is worrying for me as I really want it to qualify.

For context, in 2024 Azerbaijan felt the most forgotten to me throughout the season. And in 2023 it was Iceland.

I feel like 2/3 of the songs have been forgotton, but does it matter? Not talking abt a song won't prevent it from qualifying.
A lot of the time the amount of talk depends on how excited the people within the country are abt their entry. If there's no excitement inside the country it won't reach outside either.
Both Azerbaijan and Czechia are known to not be that into Eurovision, with Czechia trying various ways to create that excitement. And they don't have friends either (Czechia at esc, Azerbaijan in Europe in general) It makes sense they're not loudly on the picture.

Recap of all 37 songs are Eurovision this year. I think its a pretty decent year even if we don't have that many top ballads. So many songs in their native language is a big plus.

Agree not talking about a song doesnt mean it won't qualify. There was very little discussion of Cyprus before the contest in 2023 and I remember its thread here being really quiet. In the end Andrew Lambrou qualified with a strong performance. Another example is Watergun from the same year

Seeing all of the entries in that recap, actually not that bad of a year. Huge year for club music.

:pl: got totally screwed over. I was shocked
NOW, one year later they put :sm: at #11.
And another missed opportunity to not have Dobrodošli as an opener and Kiss Kiss Goodbye as a closer

I'm super happy for :lu: - the most underrated song this year.
Also happy for :rs: - The song is great albeit maybe a bit 2000-ish, but i feel like a lot of the negaitivity towards it is fueld by the current events and it's not the song's fault.

Greece and Lithuania back to back is honestly a very weird choice, two of the darkest songs should've been kept apart. The second semi seems so ballad heavy in the recap, where did all these ballads come from? i remember people crying abt not having enough.
