Do you think Revolution would have been a bigger threat?
Yes I think so especially when we talk about the jury vote
btw JJ just reached 1 Mio YT views which is great for an Austrian entry

After all it’s a combination of jury and televoting!

My wild guess would be
200-300 televoting points and up to 100 jury points for KAJ

and maybe 150-230 televoting points and 200-280 jury points for Mans.

Now with Israel it might become a tighter race in the end.

For the win? I doubt. The juries will tank it. The last thing the EBU wants is Israel to win right now - it will damage the Reputation of the contest (no matter if you think that is fair or not) and it would not be save to hold Eurovision in Israel either. Juries tanked them last year, and they will do so again IMO.

I feel the momentum has slowed down a bit for Austria now that Sweden (and perhaps Israel, we'll see that tomorrow) gain attention and positive reaction. Sweden is now comfortably leading again in the combined odds and we'll see how much that may slow down in the near future, once the euphoria from the newly chosen entry has calmed down. Furthermore, there's still France to come and then there's the staging. We know how Sweden will do it. What about Austrias staging ? (We were disappointed in the past several times). All of these factors could shift the top again and maybe Israel will also play its part there.

The thing is, what are the main jury songs. It’s basically :at: and :cz:, maybe :fr: will be strong enough too.

I don’t want to get carried away but I can see :at: going big with the juries. And I don’t thing that we will totally fail with televoters!

Staging for :at: will include the boat and he will be alone on stage, that’s what we know so far.

It is good for sure but I fail to understand what is so impressive and made this the absolute favorite to win. Anyway :7: points.

I doubt the often-expressed assumption that juries highly value classical vocal technique. I could name quite a few professionals from the pop scene who have a strong aversion to operatic voices. Take the three jury members from Starmania, for example. At first, they seemed impressed, but they immediately demanded more "belting." And when he eventually, more or less, bent to their will, he was kicked off the show.

The momentum will come back when he performs it live at the Pre-Parties—unless he gets technically sabotaged there. I'm convinced that this has always been done there.

That's the reason why I'm absolutely against participating in Pre-Parties.

And then there's the Swedish mafia that manages Eurovision's online presence. They will always give the Swedish entry more space than any other. Think of the bananas.

it’s quite pointless to talk about „momentums“ for certain songs at this stage of the season. What counts is one night in May. Or maybe two, including the jury show.

Austria is actually rising again in the odds. Doesnt really matter if its #1 or 2 or 3. the pre-parties might influence the odds a bit but it will be quite open until the semifinals. If Austrias staging is as good as the video it can win.

I still think JJ is the main favourite to win: it has room to landslide juries, if the staging is good, and maybe top 3 in the televoting (it's way more accessible than The Code who finished 5th) as well behind Israel and Sweden.
Wasted Love is my winner for now, I'd like to go to Wien in 2026.

I smell 25x 12 points from Juries at least. Winner.
The song really stuck to my head and I like it but I dont want it to win if that make any sense?
It feels like Nemo - Part 2.
And while its from Austria, the effect becomes even worse.

Take my :12: Austria! xlove xheart

But promise me, the live will be good!
I know it is a huge task, some parts of the song sound even unreal to be sung well live, but... We will see..

So proud of our Teya, she is an amazing songwriter..

Sweden had an operatic number already in 1989 in Melodifestivalen. It was a great tune musical singin from a man combined with some opera from a lady, the only strange thing is that the composer borrowed from Mozarts The Magic Flute in the end of the song. But since it was so obvious it was probably a tribute an homage to Mozart. But would it have been accepted in Eurovison perhaps since Mozarts music isnt protected due to its age.

One can see it as a rapper sampling it does make the song greater but wasnt necessary. I think it was the best song of the night together with En dag.

I seriously see no musical merit in this song. It’s a million songs turned into one song. I assume this will win in May but I really don’t like it or think it should.

It’s literally a song begging for jury votes in hope of winning. It’s just basic and craving attention. If this wins it will be the jury winner that causes it and will bring the juries into the firing line again because the people no longer have a say
