So when the Netherlands votes for Belgium it's not a problem, but when Russia votes for Belarus, it is? :?

Very well said!

Or what about Scandinavian countries to each other?

What I know is tha boo-ing is very selectively given (Typical for cyprus-greece for example),

In any case, for my first post in this forum, in my hummble opinion, juries yesterday stole the victory from Italy, gave points in total difference from their countries' televoting, and proved once again that their presence with a 50/50 percent is a BIG MISTAKE

Re: Live from Vienna - EUROVISION 2015 TONIGHT

Heeey... First time on the internet since yesterday morning... I have some catching up to do. But uh..

I AM SOSO HAPPY!
Highlights of yesterday:

5# Måns and Conchita ten second hug
4# Russia not winning
3# Lithuania: Biggest hero of the night.
2# MånsMånsMåns. I know that I guess a lot of people see him as the douchebag with a great song, but I honestly think he deserves it and I believe he's a great, warm person (not because of his looks) and I definetly celebrated the win with him. I'm happy. I really connect with positive emotions so I was just grinning like an idiot at the end. :D And it's not HIS fault or his team's fault that Sweden had just won in 2012, come on.

....

1# But most of ALL, and the reason WHY I am so HAPPY, is..... Eurovision 2015 managed to remind me of THIS brilliant entry. This song that might be one of my favourites in the history of Eurovision and I HAD COMPLETELY FORGOTTEN ABOUT IT. I used to love the shit out of it. This is the one true song that is too good for Eurovison. I will never forgive myself, but I'm forever grateful. xbowxbow I'll just listen to it 50 times now and I don't care about anything else.

Edit: ... WAIT WHAT? What's that I hear? Italy would have won if not for the juries????!!!!! F everything. I don't care for Estonia, not that big of a difference between 5th and 7th. But now I'm bitter. Whyyyyyyy. xcry1 Rome 2016, Milan 2016? We could've had it all. I thought that for sure Sweden was first in the televote as well then and I happily agreed with it. But this, I don't like.

If it was Sweden who have lost because of juries? And apparently Finland is not a neighbor to :se: anymore

Feel i have to answer this.

Well exactly that thing happend in 2011.

Sweden won televote, but because of the juries who loved Italy and also liked Azerbaijan we only came in 3rd place.

So please stop with your "Sweden always benefiting from juries campain".

San Marino would have used jury anyway. So San Marino is not a country anymore?

No if we do what most of you guys demand (no Juries anymore) San Marino would indeed no longer be able to vote.

Jury voting and jury voting in place televoting failed is different. And, btw, how do you know than San Marino votes were counted as televoting, and not as jury voting in the split results of EBU
Televoting :az: - 223 :se: - 221
Jury :az: - 182 :se: - 106

Re: Live from Vienna - EUROVISION 2015 TONIGHT

Well. All has been said about the juri weight/diaspora weight dilema.

On another note, i also think bookies and their odds are making this show a complete snooze fest. People ("professional juri" included) pay too much attention to them and stick to what they point. That's why we have the same handful of countries getting all the points and 2/3 of the scoreboard being completely ignored. Servia this year even managed to sneek into top10 with only 53 points!

Odds and EBU draw clearly states which countries will battle for victory and people just play along those lines. No way in hell 40 countries with wide open cultural background and different taste in music have the exact same top3.

I have a feeling that people wanted Italy to win because they wanted Roma 2016 and not Stockholm 2016?? The destinations of ESC 2016 shouldn't decide the winner.

And that's why people were hoping Russia not to win... :?

No. ^^ But quality should stay over show and the opinion of millions of people should stay over 200 people...

Re: Live from Vienna - EUROVISION 2015 TONIGHT

It doesn't have anything to do with destination but with the fact that the current system is very unfair and this year we could notice that clearly. It is unfair towards people who vote and pay for that, as well as for participants (not only Italy but also Czech Republic for example). If not juries, Sweden would not have won and the audience preferred Italy - that is why now they are upset about that. If Sweden won the televoting, there would be no problem - but in such situation it is hard not to start wondering whether keeping the contest in the current format is right.
