Re: Live from Vienna - EUROVISION 2015 TONIGHT

I have no idea what she was doing in the jury. Why would they pick someone ammm proffesional? Piasek? Justya Steczkowska? Grzegorz Markowski? Patrycja Markowska?

Natalia Szoeder? Please...
Yeah she's such professional, I don't remember any of her songs.. Where was Cleo?

Re: Live from Vienna - EUROVISION 2015 TONIGHT

Juries need to go...they manipulate the results way more than the public voting. Just look at Italy, Albani and Romania having big diaspora won the televote, and what does the jury do? Every single member of the jury puts Albania and Romania in the last two places. Really? Those were the worst two songs of the night for evey memeber of the jury? It's actually quite xenophobic what some juries do, why would you want so much to wipe out the public vote?

But wait here, juries give their points on the day before the final, they have no clue how televote will be.

Re: Live from Vienna - EUROVISION 2015 TONIGHT

Got mixed feeling about the jury. I've already noticed years ago that they don't necessarily award the better or higher quality acts. The fact they put Sweden first proves this imo. After all it's just a bunch of people that give point so they're not adding much. Although only televoting, I dont know about that eiter. I don't want

What was going on with those 3 countries were the connection was lost? How can that happen? Once ok but three times!

Mabye already answered but has it ever happened that the host country received no points? Seems weird.

And has it ever happened that a ESC ended so late? Ok, the opening was already 20 minutes but still, it was like 45 minutes late. And the giving of the points seemed to go on and on and on...

I am totally agree with you Robdin !!
In Spain the comentarist know before who will vote who ...Why ? Because every year is the same game .They vote the country ,not the songs ...This year win that ,next year the other ..they make winners before the show ...

Eurovision isn't a party anymore. :( Juries putting down a singer, because of the country she represents. Sweden winning with being only 3rd in the tele-vote (not even 2nd). The organization this year was a hot mess - camera work was awful, a lot of surprising technical glitches, the fake - crowd-cheering in every song . Announcing the winner before all the countries said their votes which will obviously make people to switch off their TV and miss the reprise...

Eurovision is discrediting itself. I'm happy that Bulgaria isn't participating in that circus anymore.

Νοt bridges, walls were built last night :(:(:(

Exactly. Belgium often gave Turkey high points, not because they were good but because there are lots of Turkish people in our country. So in that way I understand why they introduced the juries.

You know that Russia is always at 2nd, no matter if televoting or jury. So don't be sulky! ;) Russia would not win, neither without juries or with. Russia was great but only second. Twice.

The problem isn't the diaspora voting, but that mostly diaspora IS voting.

I still don't understand why the Lithuanian juries put Polina Gagarina on 20th place when the Lithuanian tele-vote put her on their 3rd place. For me the reasons for that placing are political and not musical at all.

Yeah but at least those people voting for their native countries spend their money doing it, now we have 5 jurors just blocking those votes beacause that's how they want it not beacause the song is the worst. And no country can win just beacause of diaspora, but a country can win just beacause of juries

Re: Live from Vienna - EUROVISION 2015 TONIGHT

The voting part was soo boring. It was so unpleasant when you know that top 3 points most go to the actual and the same top 3. In most of the time 1-7 points were more interesting that the top 3. I wish there be ( only for this year) the opposite of announcing the votes. The top 3 to be posted directly and points from 1-7 by the speakpersons.

Totally agree. At the end we pay for nothing. :)

Gosh Yes I thought the voting was awful, Not only with how lopsided the votes turned out to be with the same 10 countries getting votes over and over again, but with the failure to connect to 3 countries, and then I hated how they where showing extended stage clips with the scoreboard in the background.

And by the way whi is it so wrong to vote a song beacause it represents your native country but it's totally ok to vote for a song just beacause the singer is cute?
