The more I listen to the songs, the more I'm convinced about the nation I should give my douze points to this year. :)

If anyone had told me I would award my personal prize to my own country, I would have rolled my eyes, honestly. This year was special because it was the first time since I follow Eurovision that I've had no instant "personal winner" vibes during the shows. Normally, there is always that one song that is on a league of its own to me and ends up beating everyone else in my book... Sadly, it didn't happen in Kiev: there were a few good songs, a couple of great ones too, but all of them lacked the x-factor I was looking for. Therefore, "Requiem" wins by elimination, as it was the only song I think was the closest to be a worthy personal winner (ironically, it was sent by my country, hence my stupefaction). I'm severely judging Slovenia and Iceland for not sending "'Zažarim" and "Is This Love?" because they would have been respectively my 1st and 2nd favourites of the year, making Alma reach the 3rd place of my top.

I cross my fingers for next year because it's not satisfying not having a huge personal favourite. xpray
