What (ridiculous/funny/terrible...) song that no one seems to like but you stole your heart?
I'm talking about songs that were voted dead last or didn't even qualify because people were laughing about it or found it silly, or because it was pure trash, terribly sung out of tune. Or the songs that were so much kitsch and too boring that actually only your grandma would like it (and not even her). Songs, everyone seems to dislike/hate but you keep up the banner, subbing for them as their greatest fan.
So which song is your guilty pleasure?
I'm starting.
The first song that comes to my mind is Bulgaria 2013 (Samo shampioni). It's a masterpiece, yet all people I know made fun of it back them. All the mushroom jokes, the remarks about their ears bleeding because of them singing out of tune (little do they know, silly ones!
). It's my second favourite song in 2013 and funnily my son (who was half a year back then) loved this of all songs as well, he used to laugh and happily fidgeting around whenever I played it. I really don't know why people don't like it because it's even better than "Water" (2007).
The second, massively underrated, song is France 2014 (Moustache). It's brilliant, I love this so effing much. The melody, the French "rap" part, the happy dancing, the funny video. Oh, and I had a little crush on Lorent Idir back then (yeah. another confession). His hair was magnificent!
