Rev has been removed, along with the suggestion of 2001. [MENTION=10639]as78[/MENTION] (Aigars), who had received that year in the original randomization, will be re-assigned 1995 as it was the only suggestion left over so that sounded only fair to me

is about to be in. I'm glad I got 2009. It was the worst year of my life personally I'd say, but musically, it's a year where I REALLY opened myself up to the kind of stuff that was being played on pop radio, expanding my tastes a lot. For those of you expecting to discover a song from my pick, I'm sorry to say that you're almost definitely going to be disappointed. The song I've chosen was massively overplayed when it came out not too long ago. Instead, you're just going to get a little more of my personal musical palate. I was absolutely obsessed with the artist in middle school and even got to go see them live at one of my favorite venues as my 14th birthday present. Nowadays, if I'm being completely honest, I'm not even sure I like the song, let alone love it enough to match up to the usual standards of what I like to share with y'all. But it's a part of my history, and that makes it a part of my musical and personal soul. I have to no. GET to reckon with that. Thank you all for being patient with me as I do. Maybe by sending it, it can even recapture some of the magic I felt in it as a child.
