We surely should check history books now! I'm so happy for you as last two times you were so close and now finally all stars aligned for you!

Thank you so much to everyone that voted for Lynsey De Paul and the United Kingdom. This result has took me very much by surprise. I had to upload this little obscure gem to youtube myself. I discovered Lynsey a few years back when looking through the Eurovision history of my own country and fell in love with our silver finish at the contest, "Rock Bottom" (my favourite UK entry ever). I ordered a couple of anthology cds of hers from the internet, and then the next morning I wake to the news that she had passed away the night before So it was a very bittersweet experience listening to her beautiful music when the cds arrived. She's a brilliant singer-songwriter from our country, an unsung one that I wish more people knew about. Her music was so sweet. Thank you so much for the 4th place for one of my favourite songs Not bad finishing just behind two Italian Eurovision legends and Bonnie Tyler I'm delighted so many seemed to enjoy this quaint little dreamy song.
