I also think some of the results have been annoying, but I'm not in these contests for the results. I've done poorly in all spin-offs save one (the Christmas one). I'm in these for the fun of it, to share my favorite songs and discover new favorite songs.

You're probably right, if it wasn't for this spin-off, I wouldn't have discovered the great Philippine song

No, being last (or next to last) isn't fun. But the results is just one part of it. Just one day. Before that we have days/weeks of selecting songs, listening to them to find your favorites and then voting, something you can find enjoyment in. And you never know, maybe next time your song will do well. Or the next after that, or the next after that and so on.
