Well done England, congratulations! Poor selection of songs, but decent top 6. Eruption's song is alright and indeed a worthy winner even though the bar is quite low.

I was the only one to not score England. The cheese stands alone. Can't claim the wrong song won then and it was indeed my 11th place as well (ask as78 for proof). Thanks to as78 for hosting of course as well.

As for Brabant, I had expected to score like in the 60-70 range with Kedeng Kedeng. Got 57, is almost there. Wasn't too happy with the song, had hoped to find something more creative, but at least I got to terrorize you all with a Dutch classic now. Honestly, as annoying as the song was back in the day, I kind of enjoy it nowadays.

Storytime: So I was just on Reddit or something and there was this clip of someone being pushed off of a subway with this song playing over it... and I was like... wtf this song is in English?

I had only known a Russian version of this song (which I was obsessed with years ago)

It's still a jam.

But yes, it's funny how me, a native English speaker with 100% exclusively English speaking family from an Anglophone country, never came across this song in English for 30 years but was very familiar with the Russian one. ANYWAY, I digress.
