The result isn't the best, I can do better, but I recorded it in the car, in an isolated place, a couple of hours after the second dose of Moderna vaccine. I chose a difficult song too.

PS: I tried recording "En Lefko" of Natassa Bofiliou but I couldn't hit the high notes at all, so I gave up.

My entry is finally in, and I managed to record it at sunrise while the roosters are crowing and everyone is slowly waking up, hehe.
PS. Guess what genre of the song I'm recording to, it's a bit different from my last karaoke session

It was very uncertain whether I would be able to participate given some happenings in my private life that are not good, but I had a blast recording this particular cover and I wanted to share it here regardless of the result.

1. Not an ESC entry, nor any translation of it (I sang 1996 in English once)
2. Not a ballad (like my first karaoke participation 5 years ago)
3. Title of song recorded is timing irony
4. Sung in English (I have some Tagalog-language ballads to sing in the future, but only if you follow my Twitter, as I'll be occasionally posting my covers there. Or if you want me to sing in any other language I will gladly accept the challenge)

I managed to record something in the end, but it wasn't easy due to having a cold and my voice just feeling off because of this. I also felt very self concious being heard too much in the apartment building, so I had to keep it quiet. Oh well. Can't wait to hear you guys, though!

The good thing about there being so many participants this time around is that the entries you're forced to blank won't have to feel so singled out.

Yeah, same for me. I have the sniffles (always happens around summertime) and I hardly ever have an empty house, so I picked something real soft. I'm sure your cover will be lovely anyway.

And I'm glad to see the larger number of participants too. I recall we once had just twelve competing which meant each player quite brutally had to blank a single competitor. Felt really horrible. Now we blank nine players each Still not going to be fun though but better than having to snub a single person.

Yeah in these karaoke spin-offs you want to give points to everyone, because it's so personal and everyone's performances are usually so enjoyable (even if you don't like the song in question). I remember that 12-participant-edition, it felt awful leaving the one person without a point. I think it ended up being extra unfortunate, since several people ended up blanking the same person.

Yep, unfortunately, I didn't know what to sing.My vocal is not so good to just sing, not to ruin (upgrade) boring generic songs.
Happily, you can't suffer from me.
