Are anime and cartoons allowed?
Yes, but just be sure that it's the intro theme and not the ending theme
Sorry, I'm done now - starting to annoy myself!! Haha

Better ask Stargazer about it, the person who suggests it makes the rules IMO. I was just stating my opinion about intro and ending themes etc, because the theme says "intros".
OK here are my opinions:
Outros should be allowed, especially since some series have their official theme during the end credits and not during the opening credits. The spin-off theme was just called TV series intros, for convenience sake. So either the intro or the outro, but not some random song used during the episode. All in all, it should be the official theme song of the TV-series.
It should also be a song/score that was originally written/composed for the TV-series. Not an already released song that just happened to be used as the TV series theme. So "Who Are You" by The Who as used in CSI: should really not be allowed, if it was up to me.
Cartoons/animes are allowed, so long as the theme song is an original.
When you vote, you vote for the song. Not the video (or how much you like or dislike said TV-series). You should also ignore the length issue when voting, since some TV themes could be quite short. So you shouldn't go "well that's obviously a better song because it's longer".
That is all.

About this one, I have no idea about my entry, if it was written exclusively for the tv series or not. Wikipedia says:
The track was featured on the Mexican telenovela with the same title, and the singer himself performed the track on an episode.
The song was released as a single in late 1998, and the telenovela is from 1999.
TV series themes are allowed too? I mean in the intro it's only about 15% from that theme :/
Well if you can't find any information whatsoever about its release, then it's ok (so long as it's the official theme song for the series, and not just featured in a few episodes). I just want to avoid having all these uber-popular and well-known songs in the spin-off just because they also happened to be the theme for a TV-series.About this one, I have no idea about my entry, if it was written exclusively for the tv series or not. As long as the song was written especially for the TV-series, it's ok to use a longer version of it if such exists.TV series themes are allowed too? I mean in the intro it's only about 15% from that theme :/
The link I sent is the one I want used, though. Not any other version. You might want to ask people if you plan on using a different link than the one they sent.I told I will use complete songs in links of intros (if they exist). I mean, intro can't last 3 minutes! But most intros are about one minute and I said I will use songs in complete duration. I think it is ok.
We vote for songs in the end.

for me
Still not sure what to send, I have one intro in mind but I'm not sure if it's allowed.
We have a TV show for children here airing different fairytales/cartoons series. The show is aired every day since 1965, so every day children get one episode of fairytale/cartoon series and once the series is over, different cartoon series starts airing. This TV show has its own intro, am I allowed to send it?
Of course you can send it, if the song was written especially for this TV show.for me
