I find it strange that all Scandinavian countries are in the top considering they have one of the highest suicide rates in the world.
Maybe that's why they're so happy?

Actually that's not true.
According to my information the hightest suicide rates are in Eastern Asia and in Eastern Europea, especially in former soviet states.
Looking at the Scandinavian states only Finland has a relatively high rate (I think the 20th highest of the world, around 16 suicides per 100,000 people). Sweden & Norway have lower rates than f. e. Germany, USA, France and Austria. The suicide rates of Denmark & Iceland are even lower than Canadas.
Greenland might be the only nordic "country" that has big problems with suicide. They have also a very high rate of alcoholism and criminality in general.. they are close to a social collapse.
Maybe that's why they're so happy?
What?
It was meant to be a joke... If all the depressed people are committing suicide then there will be only happy people... Yeah.. I know it's in bad taste.
