Very deserved Spanish victory. This was probably their best match so far.

They were very organized, technically almost flawless. Equally great in defensive and offensive plan. Puyol is a player of the game Great goal.

It will be a very interesting final But now I am almost certain that Spain is our world champion.

I don't care what the octopus said, but Spain played quite well. Congratulations, they deserve to be in the finals. So, we will have a new champion.
I think it will be the Netherlands and I would love them to win for couple of reasons.
1. They weren't overrated in this tournament at all (some already counted them off in the 1/4-match against Brazil)
2. They were consistent throughout the World Cup + the qualifiers + the friendlies
3. I love their football style, even though they kicked our buattt with 4-0 in Amsterdam.
4. Wes Sneijder deserves the golden boot more than anyone (well Muller deserves it too though)

My predictions:
3rd place game:
Germany - Uruguay 3:1, I want Klose to score at least 2 goals.

Final:
Netherlands - Spain 2:1, lets hope

What's the octopus' prediction? I hope it'll be the Netherlands, too. :-) Spain got their first final, that's enough for now. The Netherlands have finished 2nd twice, so it's time for them to win. After this, we'll have 12 teams to have played in the final and 8 different winners.
