Good morning!

I am glad Germany won because I am rooting for them all the way, but ... BUT... to all those who say that Germany would have won either way, let me remind you that by the time England scored the second goal, Germany was so disoriented that I could even see a third english goal.
Imo, these mistakes or even "mistakes" if you prefer, are unacceptable in such big events and cameras should definitely be used.

Today I support Slovakia and Chile. xcheer

As for the big match, I hope Germany will send Argentina home. I cannot stand Maradona and I hope I won't have to see him anymore in this WC nor this overrated team.
OK, I am still bitter about us, Greece, but I do hate Maradona's guts. I hate him since 22 June 1986

Another exciting football-day! :D

I like both Netherlands and Slovakia so it's I don't really know which team to support.

But after all...GO ORANJE! -nl -nl -nl

I've always loved the Dutch national football team and the football philosofy in this country. If they make it work tonight I firmly believe in a big victory. Since we had Netherlands in the group stage i couldn't fully support the team, but now that we're out I finally express my love for this team.

Two great games yesterday, two disastrous mistakes of judges and a lot of good football.
Maradona has passed the coaching exam, and I do not see who can stopping him on the road to the final game?

Today:
NETHERLANDS vs SLOVAKIA While I'll support Slovakia in this game, the Netherlands is an absolute favorite in this match, they played great, and the difference in quality is more than obvious. So Oranje will pass to QF
Prediction 3:0

BRAZIL vs CHILE I expect a great game tonight between two excellent teams. I think that Chileans have the skills and knowledge to get Brazil tonight.
Prediction 1:2 for Chile

Today cheer for Slovakia and Chile!!!!

Forgot to post my prediction. I have now put money this time on both of the matches so I guess I should post what I have predicted, including the odds on both of my bets:

Holland - Slovakia (0-1) 1 (means that Netherlands is down with one goal in the betting game and will therefore have to win with more than one goal in order for me to win)
odds: 2.10

Brazil - Chile 2
odds: 6.90

Odds in total: 9.00

Netherlands winning with more than one goal is pretty realistic I think. If the Dutch players are in right shape they could easily win this match 4-0. Slovakia played very well against a weak Italian team which has dissapointed majorly. Italy looked like a shadow of themselves in all of the matches. Slovakia will need a miracle to win this match against a confident Dutch team.

Odds 6.90 for a Chile was something that I couldn't miss. I know it's a dangerous bet, but Chile has impressed me all the way through the group-stage so why not? :p

Totally agree  Though Argentina is a great team, it won't be easy at all, but Germany has my support

Argentina is a good team of course, I never said it wasn't but I just don't think that we are dealing with a super team here, as many tend to believe. I do hope that Germany will put things into the right proportion and (as polite as I can be) give Maradona a big kick in the butt!

Go Holland and CHile.

If Brazil were kicked out, it would be super awesome, but I know that's not likely :( :(

Netherlands won again with 2:1 and overall were the better team in this game. They played enough to win! Congratulations to them and we'll see them in the 1/4-final, most likely against the big Brazil.

Poor Chile. They were playing better, but those brazilian can do anything in 5 minutes like now even if they don't play a shit :(

In short - Brazil and Netherlands deserved to win their matches, and both of them played better than their rivals. I feel sorry for Chile though, they were a good team :( Slovakia too, although they didn't play that good as against Italy

I am sorry for the way I reacted on here yesterday
I feel like a spoilt brat now

Germany quite clearly out-played England and quite rightly and deservedly got through.

LONG LIVE GERMANY
-de -de -de -de -de

I will now support Germany
