Yeah, and getting points only from you, a couple of other people, and the from the rest big zeros?

But could you imagine just a contest of ballads, depression, and varying degrees of metal? I know that I'd lose interest very quickly! I could easily have decided to send a song that would fit in with the general popular trends in WLSC, but while I love said song it's not what I'm listening to right now. And you should stay true to your own self always ;)

Sounds like a great contest! :D

Nah, but balance is always good and that's what all you guys provide when you send what you like. :)

I will send more uptempo in the future, don't worry! I sent 2 ethno-pop which is my favorite genre but you saw the results. Now I want to send something different. And of course I love all the songs I send. I had one song in mind, it's not a ballad, but it's folk and I decided to send this. Another hint: it's in a dialect that has been in ESC at least once :p

Exactly - and I'm not saying that I don't vote for ballads or rock songs, but it just annoys me that people feel like they need to start altering what they send just to win contests. While winning would be awesome (and I think that Foti's more up-tempo songs would generally find a larger audience in the main NSC rosters judging from recent results), it should be about the joy of taking part.

No offence intended to Mozz here, but I really dislike this style of results show, since you just completely exclude those that end up in the lower positions. A standard results show holds your attention right till the end since even if you can gain a couple of places in the last few voters, it's like a personal victory. This way, it's like "oh well, you finished last" and then move on...

Sorry, just a small vent - carry on

Let's see how PreGomesh will do in NSC now, I predict something similar with "Shut up and give me whatever you want" xshrug

Haha, I was being a bit facetious to be honest. I meant those rock songs that all just seem to be about bleeding with agony because life is crap and everyone hates me. I was trying to think of a description of the opposite of dance-pop

I 've considered sending something 'depressive' (and personal) in December but I thought it would be too much for some of you. Maybe I'll change my mind...
