Sounds like a great contest!But could you imagine just a contest of ballads, depression, and varying degrees of metal? I know that I'd lose interest very quickly! I could easily have decided to send a song that would fit in with the general popular trends in WLSC, but while I love said song it's not what I'm listening to right now. Nah, but balance is always good and that's what all you guys provide when you send what you like.
Exactly - and I'm not saying that I don't vote for ballads or rock songs, but it just annoys me that people feel like they need to start altering what they send just to win contests. While winning would be awesome (and I think that Foti's more up-tempo songs would generally find a larger audience in the main NSC rosters judging from recent results), it should be about the joy of taking part.
