I've had a listen to all the songs now, and this show isn't just great to look at, it's awesome to listen to as well. There's not a single entry here I dislike. :eek: Making a top 10 is going to be really difficult, and I want to apologize to the 10 that won't get any points from me. You all deserve points here. xmusic

Gotta be honest, when I sent the entry, I just assumed there weren't any rules about it. :unsure: Now I have tried to look into it, and I still can't find any rules (or even posts on the WLSC forum) saying that they're not allowed. That's kinda why I decided to join this contest, it doesn't (seem to) have the rules that annoy me about NSC. ;) But if it's a problem, then I probably won't be sending the other ESC covers I have on my WLSC list...

It's true, I looked too and I couldn't find any rules either. :lol:

It's a nice version of the song, anyway. I wouldn't have known it otherwise, so thanks for sending it. ;)

I was surprised myself also, but tbh I don't think it's an issue. I like how open WLSC is.

Yeah, I had a momentary "oh, hang on" moment when I saw an ESC cover, but there are no such limits on permitted songs in WLSC so all good xup

The results for this edition will be so hard to predict - so many potential winners to my ear... bloodbath incoming!

^ About that, we don't care much about the NSC database as songs are allowed to be sent again in WLSC, but we're seriously missing one for WLSC. We have Veronika's thread and wiki but they both don't cover all editions (114-228 for forum thread, 1-134 & 187-232 for wiki), an excel file would come in handy.
I can start to work on it, what's one more after all ? :lol:

I'd been planning to do this for long enough tbh, but other rl things always tend to get in the way. xrose

Also Sween 10 editions points streak comes to an end. I must mention I'm v. grateful for that. xrose
