Anyone wondering which city will host this time?

...and of course, the answer is none, as the contest is heading out in the open!

After our WLSC 210 hosting in Khazad-dûm, it seems to be the turn of someone else than dwarves to take on the organising duties. While human folks immediately left the negotiating premises under the pretext of this being "a very unsuitable time of the year colliding with our other festival engagements", the elves adopted the good old Švejk method of pretending "we are actively interested in helping out, except we won't really do anything useful".
Luckily for Endórë's reputation, our hobbits once again save the day and rise to the occasion, somewhat reluctantly agreeing to host under the condition of this being a rather relaxed affair, and their hookahs getting merchandised as the one official souvenir for this edition.

WLSC 229 will thus take place on an undisclosed meadow near Hobbiton!

To prevent any surprise ambushes like the last one, the exact location coordinates shall remain secret and will be given to all delegations upon their arrival in Hobbiton. Every visitor is kindly asked to bring a confortable mat to sit on during the liveshows. As usual, our Friendly Eagles airline remains at your service to get you here, however it is recommended that all cheese lovers leaving Endórë with local produce from the nearby Bree town make use of hermeticly sealed boxes, or possibly choose a different transport altogether.

We shall welcome whopping 26 delegations, in the order of this allocation draw:
