I know i've said it on another thread but i think this is the perfect place :mrgreen:

Any country that have "ia" character (example: Russia, Estonia, Serbia, Armenia) :mrgreen:

Because:

Denmark 2001 -> Estonia 2002 -> Latvia 2003

Denmark 2014 -> Austria 2015 -> .........ia 2016 :D

And countries that have red on its flag should be watch out :lol:, 2 times in a row a country with red on it won :)

I voted for Italy because everyone seems to like them and they send really professional entries although 2014 wasn't for Eurovision from the start.

It seems lately that Hungary, Spain, the Netherlands and without much luck the UK, are all trying to send good acts for the show so it may pay for one of them.

Then you cannot deny the Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine quatuor of course

I want Iceland or Malta to win for once... But I've no idea what they might send next year, hopefully something that screams "winner"...

I dreamt last night about Eurovision 2015.

The top-5 was:

1- Moldova
2- Italy
3- Germany
4- Spain
5- Albania

I also remember:

- Romania failed to qualify for the first time.

- Usually succesful countries like Greece, Russia, Ukraine and Azerbaijan finished in the bottom. Armenia didn't qualify.

- The whole ex-Yugo region was back and Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia qualified. Slovenia and Bosnia were top-10, Croatia was close and Serbia finished in the bottom.

- Bulgaria failed again to qualify for a few points. On the other hand, Latvia qualified after many years.

- Both Czech Republic and Slovakia returned, and both qualify for the final. However, both finished in the bottom (Slovakia was last).

- Sweden and Norway stayed in the semis.

That's all I remember. However, I don't remember anything at all about the songs. I think my dream was only about the final ranking :lol:

I wish I had dreams as yoursxbeee I've had two eurovision dreams, one about this year's result (before it began) and that I was in Baku and everyone started singing in a big restaurant area. But I hope I will dream about next year soon! :D

Seems like you pretty much dreamed about the opposite of what usually happens for most of it :lol:

The one which which will send a mediocre dated middle-of-the-road song in English will win xshrug , unless EBU changes the jury system...

It will be interesting to see the opinions on this thread change as NF season comes around :D

As for the poll, I chose the :uk:... sounds patriotic, though I actually think we're finally on the right track again, so who knows? :D

Technically yes, but I don't really see it as a debut, as it's basically just ::cs without Montenegro...

A Lebanese/Kazakh debut and victory would be more than awesome though. xbow

BBC has probably seen this year that they could try as hard as they can and still be punished with a bottom-half placement. Considering this, they are likely to return to the "old" system from the end of last decade/beginning of this one, i.e. sending well-known, but past stars just because they're popular.

Let's just wait and see though :D
