It is a different experience for sure.

There is a reason I'm flying 12 hours just to be part of the fun LOL.

As a matter of fact, this time I'm going for four weeks total. Two weeks in Vienna and after that I'm off on a trip across Europe. Weeeeeeeeee

Booked my hotel two weeks ago (great hotel with central position) so looking forward to Vienna every day ESC gets closer :-)

Also since most probably I´ll be going alone (maybe 2 friends will come to Vienna for the Grand Final) I´d love to join an ESCunited-meet up.

I went to copenhagen on my own, and met loads of great new friends. Some of which I've been travelling Europe with this summer. But yeah a ESCUnited meet up would be great

I'm leaving on May 8th I think and spend two weeks in Vienna. After that I'm gonna go on a 2 week Euro trip and visit Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Netherlands and Germany.

Ah so cool, I'm going to try and fit in a day in Bratislava whilst in vienna, probably on rehearsal rest day. Would be rude not to, considering it is so close to vienna, and cheap via the train

You could also go to Budapest, which is a 3 hour bus ride away.

Maybe we should have an ESC United meet-up in Vienna?:)
It would be extremely beneficial to those of us making the trip on our own.

So I´m not the only one who´s going on his own :-)

As already mentioned in another thread, maybe it would be the best idea to meet @Euro Fan Café before (one of) the semis.

Yes, good idea:)
I've already paid for the 7 day pass to eurofan cafe and it is near my hotel so I plan to be there a lot.....I'd be easily recognisable too with my gigantic Latvian flag:lol:

I'm also going on my own, but I fly to Vienna tuesday 19th, so it would be difficult to meet before the semi 1

I also have the 7 day pass and will spend some nights there arriving on Monday.
Sim: Thanks for reminding me. Just looked at my mails because of that. Excitement is rising :-)

I guess the Eurovision Village would be a better meeting point since it's super central and the Fan Café is... not so much.
