I would love to see Iceland, Czech Republic, Ireland or UK win I'm not sure there's much chance of that but one can dream. I think Azerbaijan, Russia and Armenia will all come back strong next year so I could see one of them winning.

LOL, :uk:?!!! It is the country that couldn't care less for ESC, I think there is no way they will win in the near future. :D I think even :rs: has more chance, but let's see! ;) No offence to country, just opinion based on facts. Their music scene is great apart from Eurovision, but when it comes to Eurovision, it is completely different story. xshrug

Wish or not - this thread is maybe not about wishes, but Close to that. What is prediction? Concerning ESC you can't predict at all. So I would call it wish or gut feeling. But I Chose UK as well. ;)

My gut feeling for next year is Russia or maybe Romania but nobody really knows until the songs are released.

I have a feeling about hungary as well if they keep on sending risky entries a win will surely be coming for them eventually.

Yeah, I know, I read it above, and personally it would be great if UK would win, we haven't been there for a long time. I said it because it leads the poll, for now, that's why. Last time I checked it few days ago, there was Russia in the lead, I was surprised just to see new and unexpected countries.

Of course they can, they just need to show more interest and effort when it comes to the contest, that is all! They have amazing music industry and many talented artists. :)

I voted UK because I honestly believe that if we put a concentrated effort to find a worthy song (for example ESC 2009) we can win, or at the very least secure a Top 5 position. The problem for the UK is we tend to perform weakly with the televote unless its a popular act in Europe (e.g Blue) so it means that we have to promote the song across the various national selections, much like Andrew and Jade did in 2009.

I loved Jade's "It's My Time", such a beautiful song! And Lucie Jones was great last year, too, I was happy that juries put her in top 10, but I was sad about televoting results, only 20th place, so unfair. :(

Haha!! This is the funniest thread!! Even my guts laughed

Anyway, I would like :fr: to win for once in this decade, they keep sending quality entries but keep being underrated, so yeah

Austria had to win next year because Zurcaroh would be the most incredible interval act ever. Let us host please 2020

:se: It is time for the 7th win. ;)

Think SVT will make an effort after the low televotes this year, of course they are certainly pleased with the overall 7th place, but as said that low points is of course not good enough.
Personally I think Benjamin deserved a lot more and I don´t agree with televote, but still you have to accept it and try to do even better next year! :)

I think the biggest gap in the years for Swedish victory is somewhat around 10 or 12 years. So 3 years are passed, but I think you will win for sure, in few years, if not next year, we can't know it now. :) I voted for Benjamin many times, I would like that televoting results were better, I am still sad a little because of it, because I find him much better than Frans and Bengtsson, he is more charismatic and better performer, but I think still 7th place is great overall, because of all pressure this year, surrounding your country and its entry, and he was only 8 points far from 6th place. It is another great top 10 for :se: in a row, congrats, well deserved, imo! :) :D I also have a feeling that SVT will learn a lesson, and make greater effort next year, for sure. :) You are just ambitious country when it comes to ESC and you don't take this contest for granted, I appreciate your professionalism and enthusiasm about it.

I agree that Sweden is going to win next year! Just send male singer to secure juries top 3!
