Don't worry stargazer.. FoFo found a lot of lists that are about that kind of countries music..

But I still have to spend a lot of time listening to a lot of songs to find one I like, time I don't have. In WV and WLSC I pick songs I already know and love.

Well geographically you would be since you're in that part of the world?

Geographical and political are not the same thing..

So just geographically in the ME, but politically connected to Europe.

But I wouldn't mind seeing Cyprus in Middle East Vision Song Contest one day .

O, I will not join the country randomizer spin off for the same reasons that Anna gave, and also because I'm not looking forward to listening and voting. Sorry.

I had a feeling that only a few enjoyed the FSC version a while ago, while the rest was chewing on meals they didn't order

Btw, Gera, I agree with the opinion to open the thread for suggesting countries now, it will take more time than the usual because we'll have a deadline for suggesting countries and then another deadline to submit the entries from the country each one will choose.

I remember in FSC spin off, some people had difficulties in finding songs from some countries, and I discovered whole youtube channels from these countries and passed them to them. Well, that's all the fun with it. This spin off is for people who don't want to stay limited in the music scenes they already know and discover new ones.

Yay! Country randomizer spin-off was fun in FSC! I will definitely take part!

And it's not so hard to find songs even from very exotic countries. Just type into Google/Youtube for example "Nigerian music" or smth like that. Or use last.fm and search artists using country tag. For example http://last.fm/tag/Uzbekistan or http://last.fm/tag/Uzbek will give you a list of artists which are tagged as being from Uzbekistan.
